In this manuscript, a simple new method for the green synthesis of platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) utilizing F. carica Fig extract as reducing agent for antimicrobial activities was reported. This study determined the burden of visceral leishmaniasis (VL) infection on liver and spleen.
