Objective:Fluorid-containing dental alginate impression materials can exert a considerable reduction in
enamel solubility. The objective was to evaluate the effect of fluoride addition on the setting time and
compressive strength of alginate impression materials.
Methodology: 60 samples were constructed from alginate impression material (30 samples for setting
time test and 30 samples for compressive strength test).Specimens of each test divided into three
subgroup. Group A: 10 specimens of alginate were mixed with distilled water [control], Group B: 10
specimens of alginate were mixed with100-ppm fluoride and Group C:10 specimens of alginate were
mixed with 2%Naf.

In this research, the possibility of using waste wooden materials (reed and sawdust) was studied to produce sustainable and thermal insulation lightweight building units , which has economic and environmental advantages. This study is intended to produce light weight building units with low thermal conductivity, so it can be used as partitions to improve the thermal insulation in buildings. Waste wooden materials were used as a partial replacement of natural sand, in different percentages (10, 20, 30, and 40) % . The mix proportions were (1:2.5) (cement: fine aggregate) with w/c of 0.4.    In the oil industry, the processing of vacuum residue has an important economic and environmental benefit. This work aims to produce industrial petroleum coke with light fuel fractions (gasoline, kerosene , gas oil) as the main product and de asphalted oil (DAO) as a side production from treatment secondary product matter of vacuum residue. Vacuum residue was produced from the bottom of vacuum distillation unit of the crude oil. Experimentally, the study investigated the effect of the thermal conversion process on (vacuum residue) as a raw material at temperature reaches to 500 °C, pressure 20 atm. and residence time for about 3 hours. The first step of this treatment is constructing a carbon steel batch re
