Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effect of using a model of generative learning in the achievement of first-middle students of chemical concepts in science. The researcher adopted the null hypothesis, which is there is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group who study using the generative learning model and the average scores of the control group who study using the traditional method in the chemical concepts achievement test. Spectral and linear optical properties for a mixture of Rhodamine B (RB) and Fluorescein Sodium (Na Fl) organic laser dyes were determined at different concentrations 10-3, 10-4 M in ethanol solvent at room temperature. The intensity of absorption range is towards longer wavelengths (red shift). The quantum efficiency diminished while the radiative and fluorescence life time increased when increment concentration, organic laser dyes have a spectrum within the range 540-500 nm. Results demonstrate that a mixture of laser dyes are effective optical materials when contrasted with individual laser dyes. It can be utilized as resonator in cavity lasers.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of diode laser (λ=940 nm) in the management of gingival hyperpigmentation compared to the conventional bur method. Materials and methods: Eighteen patients with gingival hyperpigmentation were selected for the study with an age between 12-37 years old. The site of treatment was the upper gingiva using diode laser for the right half and the conventional method for the left half. All patients were re-evaluated after the following intervals: 3 days, 7 days, 1 month and 6 months post-operation.
