ABSTRACT The present study was conducted to determine the mode of presentation of hypothyroidism in pediatric patients and the effects of timing of diagnosis and therapy on the patient’s outcome. This study demonstrates the presence of an alkaloid compound (and its class) for the first time in Crassula ovata.
