The 2D imaging survey was carried out using Wenner-Schlumberger array through (11) 2D survey lines distributed within and out of Abu-Jir fault zone, Southwest of Karbala City, central Iraq. The aim is to delineate subsurface fractures density. The total length of each 2D survey line is (600m.) with the unit electrode spacing (a) equals to (10m.).The results showed two types of fractures zones. The first type is formed by dissolution process of carbonate rocks, while the second fractures zone is formed from tectonic movements, and it includes two types of fractures system, oblique and vertical fractures.

A reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic has been developed for determination of water-soluble vitamins. Identification of compounds was achieved by comparing their retention times and UV spectra with those of standards solution. Separation was performed on a C18 column, using an isocratic 30% (v/v) acetonitril in dionozed water as mobile phase at pH 3.5 and flow rate 1.0m/min. The aim of this paper is determine the concentration of the organic oxygen in some organic compounds (Aldehydes ) by the derivative neutron activation analysis technique, and the derivative of the oxygen by the nitrogen equivalent toit and the irradiation of anew sample in flounce (1.73*106  n.cm-2.s-1) by the neutron generator .Then the calculation of the radioactivity which is done by using NaI(Tl) .
