Background: Inguinal hernias are a common medical problem that can significantly decrease the quality of life.Repair of inguinal hernia is one of the commonest surgical procedures worldwide irrespective of the country, race, or socioeconomic state. Laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair has shown a great deal of promise as a treatment for the condition.

The current study investigated the stability and the extraction efficiency of emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) for Abamectin pesticide removal from aqueous solution. The stability was investigated in terms of droplet emulsion size distribution and emulsion breakage percent.
