This study analyzes how to make use of the resources in the marshlands of Iraq and how to utilize them, especially after the water returns to these areas and they are revitalized. We take an example of AL- Saheen Marsh and plan an ideal tourist resort there. This example can further expand to include other parts of the marshlands. In the present study, 1-ethyl -3-methyllimidazolium acetate ionic liquid is introduced for extractive desulfurization of Iraqi kerosene (1622ppm) and compared with 1-ethyl -3- methyllimidazolium tetrafloroborate. The effect of ionic liquid/ fuel ratio (1/9, 1/4, 1/2), temperature (25, 30,40oC), stirring speed (300,450rpm) and time (10, 30, 90, 180, 360 min) were studied. Sulfur compound analysis was performed using X-Ray fluorescence. The ionic liquid with acetate anion (OAc) showed better performance than tetrafloborate (BF4). media : namely, Neodymium- Tellurite glass, where the glass system(TeO2(1-x) - BaOZnO-
Nd2O3x) for values of (X=1,1.5,2,2.5,3,3.5 wt%) was used.
Measurements have been taken for the signal of fluorescence spectrum of Nd+3- glass
samples. The fluorescence spectrum, for one of the samples, has been taken, after the
sequences of polishing for the out surface.
The results give signal of fluorescence spectrum for the samples. Intensity of the peak of
the signal increases with Nd +3 concentration. The fluorescence at (l=1.06 mm) for one
of the samples has been detected and the fluorescence line width was (100 cm-1). The
