This paper is carried out to detect the subsurface structures that have geological
and economical importance by interpreting the available reflection seismic data of
an area estimated to be about (740) km2. The Khashim Al-Ahmer structure is partial
of series structures of (Injana – Khashim Al-Ahmer – Mannsorya) from the (NW to
the SE), it is located within for deep faulted area. The component of the one
elongated dome of asymmetrical of structure which has(SW) limb more steeper than
the (NE) limb.Twenty three seismic sections had been interpreted for two seismic
surveys and the total length of all seismic lines is about (414.7) Km. Interpretation
of seismic data was focused on two reflectors (Fatha and Jeribi)

The research included studying a group of eight cuneiform texts dating back to the Old Babylonian era, specifically to the reign of King Larsa Rim-Sin, which were identified through studying the historical versions of these texts. These texts are confiscated, i.e. texts of unknown location, because they did not come through excavations, but rather came to the Iraqi Museum either by people who obtained them through digging, or stolen and smuggled texts that are retrieved by the General Authority for Antiquities; as is the case with our texts that were found smuggled to Jordan and were retrieved by the General Authority for Antiquities.

The fish assemblage structure in Al-Huwaizah marsh, southern of Iraq was assessed. Fish samples collected monthly by different fishing means from period December 2017 to November 2018. This work represents the set of measurements of radon and thoron concentrations levels of soil-gas in Al-Kufa city in Iraq using electric Radon meter (RAD-7). Radon and thoron concentration were measured in soil-gas in 20 location for three depth of (50, 100 and 150) cm.
The results show that the emanation rate of radon and thoron gas varied from location to anther, depending on the geological formation.      Unknown subsurface leaking water sources and possible subsurface seepage from a sewage tank in a garden at Al-Khawarizmi engineering college, University of Baghdad, were detected in this study.
