A new bio-electrochemical system was proposed for simultaneous removal of organic matters and salinity from actual domestic wastewater and synthetically prepared saline water, respectively. A solar cell was manufactured from local materials and was dyed using dyes extracted from different organic plants. The solar cell glass slides were coated with a nano-porous layer of Titanium Oxide and infused with two types of acids, Nitric acid and Acetic acid. The organic dyes were extracted from Pomegranate, Hibiscus, Blackberry and Blue Flowers. They were then tested and a comparison was made for the amount of voltage they generate when exposed to sunlight. Hibiscus sabdariffa extract had the best performance parameters; also Different plants give different levels of voltage.

The Non-Photorealistic Rendering (NPR) demands are increased with the development of electronic devices. This paper presents a new model for a cartooning system, as an essential category of the NPR. It is used the concept of vector quantization and Logarithmic Image Processing (LIP). An enhancement of Kekre Median Codebook Generation (KMCG) algorithm has been proposed and used by the system. Several metrics utilized to evaluate the time and quality of the system. The results showed that the proposed system reduced the time of cartoon production. Additionally, it enhanced the quality of several aspects like smoothing, color reduction, and brightness.

The study seeks to examine the level of personal efficacy and its relation to mental alertness among university students. A number of compression schemes were put forward to achieve high compression factors with high image quality at a low computational time. In this paper, a combined transform coding scheme is proposed which is based on discrete wavelet (DWT) and discrete cosine (DCT) transforms with an added new enhancement method, which is the sliding run length encoding (SRLE) technique, to further improve compression.
