This paper develops a fuzzy multi-objective model for solving aggregate production planning problems that contain multiple products and multiple periods in uncertain environments. We seek to minimize total production cost and total labor cost. We adopted a new method that utilizes a Zimmermans approach to determine the tolerance and aspiration levels. The actual performance of an industrial company was used to prove the feasibility of the proposed model. The proposed model shows that the method is useful, generalizable, and can be applied to APP problems with other parameters.
The pre - equilibrium and equilibrium double differential cross
sections are calculated at different energies using Kalbach Systematic
approach in terms of Exciton model with Feshbach, Kerman and
Koonin (FKK) statistical theory. The angular distribution of nucleons
and light nuclei on 27Al target nuclei, at emission energy in the center
of mass system, are considered, using the Multistep Compound
(MSC) and Multistep Direct (MSD) reactions. The two-component
exciton model with different corrections have been implemented in
calculating the particle-hole state density towards calculating the
transition rates of the possible reactions and follow up the calculation
the differential cross-sections, that include MS
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) have been developed to improve the efficiency and safety of road transport by using new technologies for communication. Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) are a subset of ITS widely used to solve different issues associated with transportation in cities. Road traffic congestion is still the most significant problem that causes important economic and productivity damages, as well as increasing environmental effects. This paper introduces an early traffic congestion alert system in a vehicular network, using the internet of things (IoT) and fuzzy logic, for optimizing the traffic and increasing the flow. The proposed system detects critical driving conditions, or any emerge

While these properties are crucial in designing optimum mud weights during drilling operations, they are also necessary to reduce the sanding risk during production operations. This study has been conducted on the Zubair sandstone reservoir, located in the south of Iraq. The primary purpose of this study is to develop a set of empirical correlations that can be used to estimate the mechanical rock properties of sandstone reservoirs. The correlations are established using laboratory (static) measurements and well logging (dynamic) data. The results support the evidence that porosity and sonic travel time are consistent i

Production log data can be used to monitor the impacts of pressure depletion over time and to determine average pressure with the use of Selective Inflow Performance (SIP). The SIP technique provides a method of determining the steady state of inflow relationship for each individual layer. The well flows at different stabilized surface rates, and for each rate, a production log is run throughout the producing interval to record both downhole flow rates and flowing pressure. Stage separation of oil and gas is accomplished with a series of separators operating at sequentially reduced pressures. Liquid is discharged from a higher-pressure separator into the lower-pressure separator. The set of working separator pressures that yields maximum recovery of liquid hydrocarbon from the well fluid is the optimum set of pressures, which is the target of this work.
A computer model is used to find the optimum separator pressures. The model employs the Peng-Robinson equation of state (Peng and Robinson 1976) for volatile oil. The application of t

With the advent in the deep learning domain, lots of efforts are seen in applying deep learning algorithms for semantic segmentation. Most of the algorithms gain the required accuracy while compromising on their storage and computational requirements. The work showcases the implementation of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) using Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), where DCT exhibit exceptional energy compaction properties. The proposed Adaptive Weight Wiener Filter (AWWF) rearranges the DCT coefficients by truncating the high frequency coefficients. AWWF-DCT model reinstate the convolutional l

This emerging form of networking is construct of flying nodes known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that fly at a fast rate of speed, causing frequent changes in the network topology and connection failures. As a result, there is no dedicated FANET routing protocol that enables effective communication between these devices. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the performance of the category of topology-based routing protocols in the FANET. In a surveillance system involving video traffic, four routing protocols with varying routing mechanisms were examined. Additionally, simulation experiments conduct

This high level of network performance is achieved by distributing massive MIMO that provides indoor networks with joint beamforming that enhances 5G network capacity and user experience as well. Judging from the importance of this topic, this study introduces a new optimization problem concerning the investigation of multi-beam antenna (MBA) coverage possibilities in 5G network for indoor environments, named Base-station Beams Distribution Problem (BBDP). This problem has an extensive number of parameters and constrains including user’s location, required d
