While analytical solutions to Quadratic Assignment Problems (QAP) have indeed been since a long time, the expanding use of Evolutionary Algorithms (EAs) for similar issues gives a framework for dealing with QAP with an extraordinarily broad scope. The study's key contribution is that it normalizes all of the criteria into a single scale, regardless of their measurement systems or the requirements of minimum or maximum, relieving the researchers of the exhaustively quantifying the quality criteria. A tabu search algorithm for quadratic assignment problems (TSQAP) is proposed, which combines the limitations of tabu search with a discrete assignment problem. The effectiveness of the proposed technique has been compared to well-established a
... Show MoreIn this paper, we study the growth of solutions of the second order linear complex differential equations insuring that any nontrivial solutions are of infinite order. It is assumed that the coefficients satisfy the extremal condition for Yang’s inequality and the extremal condition for Denjoy’s conjecture. The other condition is that one of the coefficients itself is a solution of the differential equation .
In this paper, the continuous classical boundary optimal control problem (CCBOCP) for triple linear partial differential equations of parabolic type (TLPDEPAR) with initial and boundary conditions (ICs & BCs) is studied. The Galerkin method (GM) is used to prove the existence and uniqueness theorem of the state vector solution (SVS) for given continuous classical boundary control vector (CCBCV). The proof of the existence theorem of a continuous classical boundary optimal control vector (CCBOCV) associated with the TLPDEPAR is proved. The derivation of the Fréchet derivative (FrD) for the cost function (CoF) is obtained. At the end, the theorem of the necessary conditions for optimality (NCsThOP) of this problem is stated and prov

Show MoreThe aim of the current research is to find out the extent to which algebraic thinking skills are included in the mathematics textbook for the third intermediate grade for the academic year (2020-2021) by answering the main research question:What algebraic thinking skills are included in the mathematics textbook for middle third grade? The descriptive and analytical approach was used, and to achieve the goal of the research, a list of the main algebraic thinking skills and the sub-skills were prepared, and after analyzing the content of the mathematics textbook, the stability of the analysis was verified through the analysis over time and across individuals using the Holsti equation, and
... Show MoreThe paper establishes explicit representations of the errors and residuals of approximate
solutions of triangular linear systems by Jordan elimination and of general linear algebraic
systems by Gauss-Jordan elimination as functions of the data perturbations and the rounding
errors in arithmetic floating-point operations. From these representations strict optimal
componentwise error and residual bounds are derived. Further, stability estimates for the
solutions are discussed. The error bounds for the solutions of triangular linear systems are
compared to the optimal error bounds for the solutions by back substitution and by Gaussian
elimination with back substitution, respectively. The results confirm in a very
This paper deals with the numerical solution of the discrete classical optimal control problem (DCOCP) governing by linear hyperbolic boundary value problem (LHBVP). The method which is used here consists of: the GFEIM " the Galerkin finite element method in space variable with the implicit finite difference method in time variable" to find the solution of the discrete state equation (DSE) and the solution of its corresponding discrete adjoint equation, where a discrete classical control (DCC) is given. The gradient projection method with either the Armijo method (GPARM) or with the optimal method (GPOSM) is used to solve the minimization problem which is obtained from the necessary conditi

The basic formulation of this method and suggested forms for Ridge parameter is applied to the Gross Domestic Product data in Iraq. This data has normal distribution. The best linear regression model is obtained after solving multicollinearity problem with the suggesting of 10 k value.
The aim of this paper is to study the nonlinear delay second order eigenvalue problems which consists of delay ordinary differential equations, in fact one of the expansion methods that is called the least square method which will be developed to solve this kind of problems.
