This study addresses the selection of the optimal site for establishing a waste landfill within the study area by utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques integrated with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology and the Weighted Overlay tool for multi-criteria spatial analysis. Six key criteria influencing site suitability were identified, including distance from urban areas, agricultural lands, irrigation canals, roads, villages, and barren (uncultivated and uninhabited) areas, with a focus on potential environmental and health impacts. The results indicate that ideal landfill sites are located at distances exceeding 800 to 1000 meters from agricultural and urban areas, providing effective protection to soil and groundwater while reducing air pollution and health risks. The analysis also highlights that proximity to barren areas constitutes a positive environmental factor enhancing site suitability due to minimal human and agricultural activities, thereby mitigating negative environmental impacts.A pairwise comparison matrix based on Saaty’s scale was constructed within the AHP framework, revealing that distance from urban areas carries the greatest weight (34.1%), followed by distance from barren areas (25.2%) and agricultural lands (17.6%), whereas criteria related to roads, irrigation canals, and villages held lower weights. Spatial overlay of weighted layers produced a final suitability map classifying sites into three categories: highly suitable, conditionally suitable, and unsuitable. Highly suitable areas were predominantly concentrated in barren regions adjacent to road networks, facilitating landfill operations while minimizing environmental impacts. The study underscores the importance of integrating environmental, social, and technical criteria in a data-driven decision-making process for selecting landfill sites that balance environmental protection with operational efficiency. It also recommends implementing advanced environmental protection systems in moderately suitable sites to mitigate potential risks and conducting continuous field assessments to ensure environmental sustainability
The present research studies numbers and its uses in the Islamic ornament. The study consists of four chapters; the first is dedicated to the problem of the research, the value of the study, and the aim of the study, and its limit. The problem of the study deals with the uses of numbers in Islamic ornament and how these numbers were used for aesthetic purposes. What are the analytical bases that enable us to read the geometrical compositions ornament numerically? The value of the research is the study forms an analytical and visual study of the numbers in the Islamic ornamentation. Additionally, this study is an aesthetic assessment to the philosophy of the number and its uses in Islamic architecture. The study is limited to the ornament

The technological developments in the field of communication have witnessed considerable impact in the variables which exist in following up and conveying the events which link it’s meaning to political implications. This makes a number of satellite channels depend on the techniques of propaganda and use them in the news bulletins to achieve political aims and ends related to its formational directives where those channels allotted a considerable time in its programming transmission map to concentrate on the security and political status to complete the image of the informational scene according to the logic of its propaganda and styles in processing news for daily events. The technological developments in the field of communication hav

The proposed model allows quick and precise estimation of an adopted weighted objective function for each selected location. In addition to that for each location, a different dam height is used as a nominee for optimum selection. The VBA model includes an optimization model with a weighted objective function that includes beneficiary items (positive) , such as the available storage , the dam height allowed by the site as an indicator for the potential of hydroelectric power generation , the rainfall rate as a source of water . Perceptions of deity have practical effects in a person’s life, especially in his attitudes toward natural things since nature was created, in which man has treated it as something sacred. The Greek philosophers before Plato and Aristotle did not find in them the idea of divinity clear. Rather, they all searched for the first substance or the first cause of existence, and then gave it all the attributes of God from eternity and eternity, and considered it a first reason without which the universe would not have existed. knowledg
