As a star explode as a supernova its ejecta will directly interact with relativelylow density interstellar medium with high shock wave velocity, and due to thisinteraction many of forbidden emission lines will give a raise from both theexcitation and ionization of the atom in the region. So, the study of these emissionlines can reveal many physical properties of the region, in this case the remnant ofthe supernova, such as temperature, density, composition, and many other importantphysical processes. In this paper the optical spectrum of the young galacticsupernova remnant which is the Crab Nebula has used, in order to calculate it’selectron temperature (Te) and electron density (ne) by using the [OIII] and [SII]forbidden lines. From the

One of most the important compounds which have active hydrogen (substrate) is the thiols which used in a wide field in preparation of Mannich bases . A large number of Mannich bases have been prepared as a biologically active compound (pharmaceutical, pesticides, bactericidal, fungicidal and tuberculostatic) and in order to correlate their structure and reactivity with their pharmacological activity such as . It has been reported that the reaction is easily proceeded by using primary and secondary amine beside formaldehyde. But when we tried the reaction of thiols as substrate and formaldehyde and succinimide instead of amine, the reaction did not proceed to give Mannich base but product were methylenene – bis – sulfide . The aim of this work is the synthesis of new Schiff base derived from PVA and Erythro-ascorbic acid derivative (pentulosono-ɣ-lactone-2,3-enedianisoate) and its metal complexes of biological significance. All synthesized compounds were characterized by Thin layer chromatography (TLC) and FTIR spectra and aldehyde was also characterized by (U.V-Vis), 1HNMR, 13CNMR and mass spectra. The synthesized Schiff base & its metal complexes were screened for their in vitro antimicrobial activity against five pathogenic bacteria (Escherichia coli, Shigella dysentery,Klebsiellapneumonae,Staphylococcusaureus, Staphylococcus Albus) and two fungal (Aspergillus Niger,Yeast). The biological activity ofall complexes is higher than free Schiff base ligand andf

The ligand and complexes were characterized by spectroscopic methods [IR, UV-

A series of air-stable complexes with distinctive octahedral moieties was created by equal molar ratio (1:1:1). The formation of these compounds was verified using detecting analysis techniques incorporating mass spectra, which validated the achieved geometries. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis demonstrated how the ligands (H2L and bipyridyl) are chelated as tridentate (ONO) and bidentate (NN) groups, respectively and the coordination with the metal ions.
