The Hartha Formation (age Late Campanian – Early Maastrichtian) is considered an important oil reservoir in Iraq. The petrography and the diagenetic features were determined based on the analyses of 430 thin sections from selected wells within Balad and East Baghdad oil fields, Ba-2, Ba-3, EB-53, Eb-56 and EB-102.

The most important and common diagenesis processes that affect Hartha Formation include Cementation, Neomorphsim, Micrtitization, Dolomitization, Compaction, Dissolution, and Authigenic minerals. This diagenesis deformation on Hartha Formation has overall accentuated the reservoir quality heterogeneity.

A field experiment was conducted during winter season of 2021 at a research station of college of agricultural engineering sciences, university of Baghdad to determine the response of active fertility percentage and seed yield and its components of faba bean (Vicia faba L. cv. Aguadulce) to distance between plants and spraying of nano and traditional boron. A Randomized Complete Block Design according to split-plots arrangement was used at three replicates. The main plots were three distances between plants (25, 35 and 45 cm), while the sub plots including spraying of distilled water only (control treatment), spraying of boron at a 100 mg L-1 and spraying of nano boron at two concentrations (10 and 15 mg L-1). Ninety five samples were collected from different samples (urine, ear and wounds swaps), from hospitals in Baghdad city. The results of cultural, microscopic , biochemical tests indicated that in urine samples E.coli have high occurrence frequency 19 (47.5%) followed by Proteus mirabilis 18(45%) and Klebsiella species 1 (2.5%), while in wounds samples each of Pseudomonas spp. and Proteus mirabilis 10 (25%) , then followed by E.coli with 5 (12.5%) and Klebsiella species 3 (7.5%). Acetophenone sulfamethoxazole and 3-Nitrobenzophenone sulfamethoxazole were prepared from the reaction of sulfamethoxazole with two ketones. The prepared ligands were identified by (C.H.N) analysis and UV-VIS, FT-IR spectroscopic techniques. Metal complexes of the two ligands were prepared in an aqueous alcohol with Zn (II), Mn (II) and Cu (II) ions with a molar ratio1:1. The proposed general formula for the resulting complexes was [ML.CL2.H2O]H2O .The complexes were characterized by (C.H.N) technique , spectroscopic methods ,conductivity, atomic absorption ,magnetic susceptibility measurements and melting point. According to the results obtained, the suggested geometry is to be octahedral for all the complexes.

A series of new maleimide monomers substituted with Schiff base moieties were synthesized via acid-catalyzed condensation of 3-(N-maleimidyl)phenyl hydrazide with aromatic aldehydes and ketones. The newly synthesized monomers were introduced in free radical chain growth homopolymerization producing five new polymaleimides with pendent Schiff base moieties .The new monomers were introduced also in free radical chain growth copolymerization with acrylonitrile producing new five copolymaleimides containing pendent Schiff base moieties. A new ligand (H4L) and its complexes with (CoII, NiII, CuII and PdII). This ligand was prepared in two steps, in the first step a solution of terephthaldehyde in methanol reacted under refluxe with 1,2-phenylenediamine to give precursore compound which reacted in the second step with 2,4- dihydroxybenzaldehyde to give the ligand.
