Co(II) ion was determined by a new, accurate, sensitive and rapid method via a
continuous flow injection analysis (CFIA) with a chemiluminescence reaction based on
the oxidation of Luminol which is loaded on poly acrylic acid gel beads by hydrogen
peroxide in presence of Cobalt (II) ion as a chemiluminescence catalyst. Chemical and
physical parameters were investigated to obtain the best conditions. Linear dynamic
range of Cobalt (II) ion was from 0.1-20.0 μg.ml-1 with a correlation coefficient r =

Our recent work displays the successful preparation of Schiff_bases that carried out between hexane-2,5-dione and 2 moles of (Z)-3-hydrazineylideneindolin-2-one forming in Schiff-bases-(L), Which in turn allowed combining with each of the next metal ions: (M²⁺) = Ni, Mn, Zn, Cu and Co forming complexes_ in high stability. developed for the analysis of vanadium(V) in three randomly chosen samples from
river water at different locations by continuous flow injection analysis. The method
based on the oxidation of pyrogallol by vanadium(V) in acidic solution to form color
