Obstetric and Neonatal Outcomes in Overweight Adolescent Pregnant Mothers
...Show More Authors

Background The escalating global concern over increased body weight in adolescents, coupled with the rising rates of adolescent pregnancy worldwide, presents a significant challenge to healthcare systems. We plan to identify the maternal and neonatal consequences associated with pre-pregnancy overweight in adolescent women. Methods Throughout five years, all singleton adolescent pregnant women with pre-pregnancy self-reported body mass index (BMI) of 18.5– ≤ 29.9 were involved during the first-trimester visit. Two groups were generated: overweight and appropriate-weight (BMI 25–29.9 and 18.5–24.9, respectively). Obstetric and neonatal outcomes were observed prospectively and statistically adjusted for the confounding factors. Results The overweight group (223 women) had significantly higher pregnancy weight gain, birth weight, and gestational age than the appropriate-weight group (621 women). Most obstetric outcomes occurred significantly in overweight women like primary Cesarean section (CS) [odds ratio (OR) (95%confidence interval (CI)) = 1.5 (1.06–2.2)], cephalopelvic disproportion [OR (95% CI) = 1.3 (1.1–1.8)], labor induction [OR (95% CI) = 1.2 (1.09–2.3)]. Regarding neonatal outcomes, macrosomia [OR (95% CI) = 1.6 (1.3–2.7)] and non-reassuring fetal status (NRFS) [OR (95% CI) = 1.1(1.0–1.7)] had higher statistical significance in overweight women. Oppositely, small for gestational age [OR (95% CI) = 0.7(0.4–0.9)] and low birth weight [OR (95% CI) = 0.5(0.3–0.8)] were more frequent in appropriate-weight women. Conclusion Overweight adolescent pregnant women exhibited significantly higher percentages of obstetrical outcomes, like as primary CS, failure to progress, labor induction, postdate delivery, gestational diabetes, and gestational hypertension. Additionally, elevated rates of neonatal complications were found, including macrosomia and NRFS.

Abstract The results showed that after treating C. albicans with Artemisinin (0.104 mg/ml) for 3 hours the number of C. albicans decreased and affected the morphology hyphae and growth of Candida compared with Fluconazole (150 mg/ml) and control (infected mice). The biomarker levels in the tongue showed high levels of MDA and TGFβ (623±1.5pg/ml, 586.1±0.13pg/ml respectively) in (infected mice with fungi). IL-37 was recorded high level (49.21±0.21pg/ml) in (Neoral +Fungi + artemisinin + fluconazole) compared with negative control. The finding biomarker levels in stomach showed high levels of MDA and IL-37 (533.8±1.9, 69.76±0.39pg/ml) in (Neor

Assessment Of Vascular And Lymphatic Vessels Density In Benign Vascular Lesions Using CD34 And D2-40 Immunohistochemical Markers
...Show More Authors

Background: Vascular tumors and malformations, comprising a broad category of lesions often referred to as vascular anomalies. Hemangioma, represents a variety of vascular lesions (both malformations and tumor), while lobular capillary hemangioma is a common vascular lesion of the skin and mucous membranes that occurs mainly in children and young adults. Lymphangiomas are malformations of the lymphatic system. At the level of light microscopy the small lymphatics vessels may be similar to capillaries and sometimes are only tentatively identified by the nature of their contents or by immunohistochemical staining procedure. This study aimed to assess the vascular and lymphatic vessels density in benign vascular lesions using CD34 and D2-40 im

DAMAGE DETECTION AND LOCATION FOR IN AND OUT-OFPLANE CURVED BEAMS USING FUZZY LOGIC BASED ON FREQUENCY DIFFERENCE
...Show More Authors

In this study, structures damage identification method based on changes in the dynamic characteristics
(frequencies) of the structure are examined, stiffness as well as mass matrices of the curved
(in and out-of-plane vibration) beam elements is formulated using Hamilton's principle. Each node
of both of them possesses seven degrees of freedom including the warping degree of freedom. The
curved beam element had been derived based on the Kang and Yoo’s thin-walled curved beam theory
in 1994. A computer program was developing to carry out free vibration analyses of the curved
beam as well as straight beam. Comparing with the frequencies for other researchers using the general
purpose program MATLAB. Fuzzy logic syste

Analysis of Fatty Acid Composition in the Seed and flower oil of Syrian Ligustrun Lucidum and olive oil
...Show More Authors

The fatty acid composition in the seed and flower of Ligustrun lucidum and olive oil was studied by Gas Chromatography. Results showed that the main components of seed oil were Palmitic (C16:0) 5,893% ,Palmitolic acid (C16:1)0,398%, Steaeic (C18:0)2,911% ,Oleic (C18:1)74,984%,Linoleic (C18:2) 12,959%,and Linolenic (C18:3) 0,997%. The proportion of unsaturated fatty acid was above 89,338%, so the seed oil of L. lucidum ait belonged to unsaturated oil which possessed promising application. The components of flower oil were Palmitic (C16:0) 65,674% ,Palmitolic acid (C16:1)6,516%, Steaeic (C18:0)2,641% ,Oleic (C18:1)14,707%,Linoleic (C18:2) 3,113%,and Linolenic (C18:3) 2,70%. The research aims to verify the presence of correlation between the financial cycle and the economic cycle in the Iraqi economy. During the research period, the Iraqi economy witnessed a crisis cycle due to the permanent deviations in the state budget and the occurrence of sustainable deficits during the period of the economic blockade with the coincidence of an inflationary economic cycle due to the cheap money policy and the occurrence of Negative supply shocks due to the blockade and the madly high general level of prices, in addition to the weak financial planning of the state budget during the post-economic blockade and the entry of the economy into a stagnant economic cycle due to security and political instability, low levels of priv
