Biosynthesis, Characterization, Adsorption and Antimicrobial studies of Vanadium Oxide Nanoparticles Using Punica Granatum Extract
...Show More Authors

This study includes using green or biosynthesis-friendly technology, which is effective in terms of low cost and low time and energy to prepare V2O5NPs nanoparticles from vanadium sulfate VSO4.H2O using aqueous extract of Punica Granatum at a concentration of 0.1M and with a basic medium PH= 8-12. The V2O5NPs nanoparticles were diagnosed using several techniques, such as FT-IR, UV-visible with energy gap Eg = 3.734eV, and the X-Ray diffraction XRD was calculated using the Debye Scherrer equation. It was discovered to be 34.39nm, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy TEM. The size, structure, and composition of synthetic V2O5NPs were determined using the (EDX) pattern, Atomic force microscopy AFM. The adsorption experiment was successfully conducted on metal ions M (II), such as Co, Ni, and Cu. The results proved removal simultaneously from water using V2O5NPs based on surface shape on the affinity of three metal ions. The adsorption rate of Ni(II) is the highest one in the time scale and conditions of our experiment at all surfaces, while Co(II) and Cu(II) ions are close in magnitude. The removal efficiencies of mixed (M+2 = Co, Ni, and Cu) ions with λmax for Co, Ni, and Cu ions are  510,425 and 814 nm 56.66%, 77.00%, and 27.23%, respectively. The Antimicrobial activity of V2O5NPs in three concentrations, 25%, 50%, and 75%, was tested against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Candida albicans fungus. The results of the inhibition of vanadium oxide nanoparticles against positive and negative bacteria were compared with the standard drug Amoxicillin and the results of fungus inhibition with the standard drug Metronidazole. It was found that nano-oxide is more effective at 75% concentration.

Effect of Pioneer Aeromedical Evacuation Program on Flight Medics' Knowledge toward Emergency Casualties at Army Aviation Bases in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Objective(s): The aims of present study to findout the effect of aeromedical evacuation program on flight medics’ knowledge.
Methods: A pre-experimental design is carried in army aviation bases in Iraq, for the period of April 1st 2019 to October 25th 2019. Non-probability "purposive" sample of (30) flight medics are selected from army aviation bases. The questionnaire consisted of two main parts: the demographic characteristics of air paramedics, and the second part included five axes, which are (50) paragraphs related to the knowledge of air paramedics towards emergency injuries. The researcher used the statistical program version 20 to analyze the data, and the stability of the questionnaire was measured through the pre and post

Long-term results of balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty in pediatric age group in surgical specialty teaching hospital/cardiac center/Hawler
...Show More Authors

Congenital valvular pulmonary stenosis accounts for 5-10% of all congenital heart disease. Balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty is a safe and effective method in reduction of moderate to severe valvular pulmonary stenosis. This retrospective study done in Hawler surgical specialty cardiac center on pediatric patients who had pulmonary valve stenosis (with echocardiographic peak gradient 2:50mmHg) and treated by balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty. A total of 178 cases were involved, 93(52.25%) patient was male and 85 (47.75%) patients was female. 160 patient (89.89%) were treated with single balloon method 18 patient (10.11%) were managed by double balloon method technique. Follow up period of these patients range from 1 year to 10 years (mean of 5.

The Role of Strategic Improvisation on the Entrepreneurial Orientation; a Field Study in a Sample from the Rafidain Bank
...Show More Authors

The research aims to identify the role of strategic improvisation as an independent variable with its dimensions (Building the Solution, Intuition, Adaptation, and Spontaneity) and the Entrepreneurial Orientation as a dependent variable with its dimensions (Identifying Opportunities, Creativity, Adopting risk, and Vision). This research has been applied in the Rafidain Bank and its branches (Sunk, People, Al-Firdaws, and Alawiya); it used the questionnaire as a basic tool for collecting information. The sample was intentionality, which included all the heads of departments in the bank’s branches, which amounted to (33) workers, and data on the questionnaire paragraphs of 28 were processed using the SPSS V.23 and AMOS V.23). A Study on the Effect of Multistage Toolpath in Fabricating a Customized Cranial Implant in Incremental Sheet Metal Forming
...Show More Authors

Incremental sheet forming (ISF) process offers a high degree of flexibility in the manufacturing of different sheet parts, which makes it an ideal candidate for prototype parts as well as efficient at fabricating various customized products at low production costs compared to traditionally used processes. However, parts produced in this process exhibit notable geometrical inaccuracy and considerable thickness reduction. In this paper, the single point incremental sheet forming variant of the process has been implemented to manufacture a highly customized cranial implant starting from the computed tomography (CT) scan data of the patient's anatomy. A methodology, from the modeling to the realization of the implant, is presented and discus

This research was interested in studying the phrase “I don’t know” in the Lisan al-Arab dictionary, and Lisan al-Arab was based on collecting its material from five dictionaries, including: Tahdhib al-Lugha, al-Muqamah, al-Sahih, and the footnotes of Ibn Berri, al-Nihaya and Gharib al-Hadith. The objection to this phrase, and the discussion of its various implications among linguists and the clarification of the closest and most famous content to it according to the data presented to the researcher in his research journey, and to reach this goal, the research division into a preface, five demands and a conclusion and followed the list of sources and references. The Significance Of Maternal Total Serum Homocysteine Level In Iraqi Mothers Who Had Previous Babies With Neural Tube Defects
...Show More Authors

Background: Neural tube defects (NTDs) are said to be inherited in a multifactorial fashion, i.e. genetic-environmental interaction. Maternal nutritional deficiencies had long been reported to cause NTDs, especially folate deficiency during early pregnancy. More attention had been paid to the exact mechanism by which this deficiency state causes these defects in the developing embryo. The most significant of all researches was that connecting reduced folate and increased homocysteine level in maternal serum on one hand and the risk of developing a NTD baby on the other hand. Objectives : to determine the significance of homocysteine level in Iraqi mothers who gave birth to babies with NTDs as compared to normal controls. Patients, Materials
