Although the Arabic haiku has its roots in Japanese poetry structure, it frequently deviates from conventional Arabic prosody, showing only sporadic adherence to its guidelines. Arab poets have made an effort to use the haiku form while adhering to the prosody and linguistic limitations of Arabic. In spite of these efforts, the haiku usually exhibits a noticeable defiance of the limitations of conventional Arabic prosody in its Arabic form. It is crucial to critically analyze this non-conforming structure because of its origins in Japanese religious incantations. Arab poets have modified the haiku through a process of reinterpretation, essentially changing its original form into a concise form of modern poetry expression. This research endeavors to clarify the basic features and etymology of haiku, compare its structural expressions in Arabic and Japanese literature, and then offer the findings from this comparative study
Abstract
The current research aims to identify the typical effect of Flower and Coscroft on expressive performance and the development of lateral thinking among literary fifth-grade students. To achieve the research objective, the researcher chose a sample of (90) female students from the fifth literary grade, with two experimental groups and a control group. The research groups are of six subjects. The research found that the two experimental groups have more expressive performance than the control group. The letters are exposed in some texts of the classical Arabic language (poetry or prose), or in some of the Qur’anic texts, which are the main sources that were adopted on the day when provisions, rules and linguistic controls were established. I say that some of these letters are exposed in some contexts to deletion, mention, or change in the structure and shape of the letter. As for the omission, it is one of the aspects that distinguished Arabic, as well as other languages, for many purposes that differ among their user.
