This study was conducted in a lath house, Dept of Hort. and Landscape, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Univ. During the 2021 growing season, Baghdad will investigate the influence of organic and Biological fertilizers on three Citrus rootstocks' growth and leaf mineral content. The first factor is the addition of liquid organic fertilizers Vit-Org (O) at three levels without addition (O0), soil addition at 10 ml.L-1 (O10) and soil addition at 20 ml.L-1 (O20). The second factor is the addition of nitrogen-fixing bacteria without addition (N1), add 30 ml.Transplant-1 of Azotobacter chroococcum (N2) and add 30 ml.Transplant-1 of Azospirillum brasilemse (N3). The third factor is three citrus rootstocks: sour orange (R1), Rangpur (R2), and C-35 Citrange (R3). Treatments were replicated three times (three transplants in the experimental unit) at split blocks design in an R.C.B.D. The number of transplants used was 243 transplants. The experimental results showed that the addition of Vit-Org liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect in increasing vegetative growth characteristics and leaves mineral content, as treatment with a concentration of 20 ml.L-1 (O20) was superior to increase in stem diameter of 2.99 mm and increase in leaves nitrogen content of 1.49%, phosphorous was 0.35%. Treatment with a concentration of 10 ml.L-1 (O10) was superior in increased leaves number of 66.27 leaves: transplants-1 and leaf area of 17.70 cm2 . The addition of nitrogen-fixing bacteria, especially the addition of Azospirillum brasilemse (N3), showed significant superiority in most vegetative growth traits; it gave the highest increase in leaves, the number of 65.28 leaves.transplant-1 , highest leaves nitrogen content of 1.56%, phosphorous 0.32%. The addition of these bacteria did not significantly affect the increase in stem diameter and leaf area. Rootstocks varied among themselves in vegetative growth characteristics and leaf minerals content, as Rangpur rootstocks (R2) excelled in increasing the stem diameter of 2.32 mm and the leaves number of 83.90 leaves.transplant-1 . In contrast, sour orange rootstock (R1) was superior in increased leaf area of 21.49 cm2 and leaves phosphors content of 0.30%. In contrast, C-35 rootstock (R3) outperformed in leaves nitrogen content by 1.44%. Twice and triple interactions between the study factors significantly affected all studied vegetative growth traits and leaf mineral content. This work investigates the effect of earthquakes on the stability of a collective pile subjected to seismic loads in the soil layer. Plaxis 3D 2020 finite element software modeled pile behavior in dry soils with sloping layers. The results showed a remarkable fluctuation between the earthquakes, where the three earthquakes (Halabja, El Centro, and Kobe) and the acceleration peak in the Kobe earthquake had a time of about 11 seconds. Different settlement results were shown, as different values were recorded for the three types of earthquakes. Settlement ratios were increased by increasing the seismic intensity; hence the maximum settlement was observed with the model under the effect of the Kobe earthquake (0.58 g), where
... Show MoreThe objective of the conventional well testing technique is to evaluate well- reservoir interaction through determining the flow capacity and well potential on a short-term basis by relying on the transient pressure response methodology. The well testing analysis is a major input to the reservoir simulation model to validate the near wellbore characteristics and update the variables that are normally function of time such as skin, permeability and productivity multipliers.
Well test analysis models are normally built on analytical approaches with fundamental physical of homogenous media with line source solution. Many developments in the last decade were made to increase the resolution of transient response derivation to meet the
... Show MoreIn this study used three methods such as Williamson-hall, size-strain Plot, and Halder-Wagner to analysis x-ray diffraction lines to determine the crystallite size and the lattice strain of the nickel oxide nanoparticles and then compare the results of these methods with two other methods. The results were calculated for each of these methods to the crystallite size are (0.42554) nm, (1.04462) nm, and (3.60880) nm, and lattice strain are (0.56603), (1.11978), and (0.64606) respectively were compared with the result of Scherrer method (0.29598) nm,(0.34245),and the Modified Scherrer (0.97497). The difference in calculated results Observed for each of these methods in this study.
To evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of three minimally invasive (MI) techniques in removing deep dentin carious lesions. Forty extracted carious molars were treated by conventional rotary excavation (control), chemomechanical caries removal agent (Brix 3000), ultrasonic abrasion (WOODPECKER, GUILIN, China); and Er, Cr: YSGG laser ablation (BIOLASE San Clemente, CA, USA). The assessments include; the excavation time, DIAGNOdent pen, Raman spectroscopy, Vickers microhardness, and scanning electron microscope combined with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM–EDX). The rotary method recorded the shortest excavation time (p < 0.001), Brix 3000 gel was the slowest. DIAGNOdent pen va
Organohalosilanes conslitute an important subject ١٦؛ the chemistry oforganosilicon compound؛. Background: Ruptured uterus is a catastrophic event to both
mother and her fetus. Apart from maternal and fetal mortality
rates, the incidence of rupture of uterus is often taken as an
index of the standard of obstetric care.
Objective: To determine the frequency, causes, management
outcome of ruptured uterus at Al Batool maternity hospital.
Method: The study was conducted in the department of
obstetrics and gynecology at Al Batool maternity hospital
Mosul-Iraq over a period of three years from October 1st 2002
to August 30th 2005. All the cases of uterine rupture presented
during the study period were recorded and managed in the
department. Data was recorded on designed forms.
Results: Thirty nine cas
The effect of three high temperatures for five exposure periods on the developments of larvae, pupae and adults of Trogoderma granarium (Everts) and their biological performance were investigated. The results revealed that the percent of mortality was increased as the temperature and the exposure period increased, e. g. exposing last instar larvae to 45°C for 6 hrs caused 100% death of this stage, while exposing adults (1-3) days old to the same temperature and exposure time resulted in that these adults did not able to survive more than 24 hrs.; in addition, the results showed that the ability of reproduction of adults was depended on the temperature, duration of exposure and the sex.
