A novel method for monitoring of pharmaceutically relevant reactions using PADI-MS has been developed in this study. The visible non-thermal plasma plume from a coaxial helium gas flow non-thermal RF plasma was optimised using a range of samples. PADI-MS was found to be a powerful analytical technique for pharmaceutically relevant solid and liquid samples and can readily be adapted for use in reaction monitoring. This study has determined that PADI-MS is fast, easy to set up and requires little or no sample preparation. PADI-MS has significant advantages over other techniques as it is faster, more sensitive and more convenient and suitable for investigation of complex molecules and mixtures. However, two limitations of PADI-MS are that the plasma can affect the sample surface chemistry upon exposure and quantification is not always trivial.
Summarized the idea of research is marked by "changes in the process of mass communication by using the international network of information" by specifying what data networking and mass communication is the transformation processes in the mass communication network where research aims to:1. Diagnostic data and transformations in the process of mass communication network.2. Provide a contact form commensurate with the characteristic mass of the International Network of electronic information, and research found to provide a communicative model called the (human contact network). Solar and waste heat-powered humidification dehumidification (HDH) desalination systems become essential due to the severe impacts of global warming and water shortages. This problem highlights the need to apply boosted water desalination solutions. Desalination is a capital-intensive process that demands considerable energy, predominantly sourced from fossil fuels worldwide, posing a significant carbon footprint risk. HDH is a very efficient desalination method suitable for remote areas with moderate freshwater requirements for domestic and agricultural usage. Several operational and maintenance conce

Jobbar, Wei Liu & Wenqing Cheng Chapter 568 Accesses 1 Citations Part of the Studies in Computational Intelligence book series (SCI,volume 208) Abstract The stochastic network calculus is an evolving new methodology for backlog and delay analysis of networks that can account for statistical multiplexing gain. This paper advances the stochastic network calculus by deriving a network service curve, which expresses the service given to a flow by the network as a whole in terms of a probabilistic bound. The presented network service curve permits the calculation of statistical end-to-end delay and backlog bounds for broad

However, similar to monthly electricity bill, the PV energy producers can only monitor their energy PV generation once a month. Any malfuntion in PV system components may reduce the performance of the system without notice. Thus, developing a real-time monitoring system of PV production is very crucial for early detection. In addition, electricity consumption is also important to be monitored more frequently to increase energy savings awareness among consumers. Hardware based Internet-of-Thing (IoT) monitoring and control system is widely used. However, the implementation of

Show MoreAccurate description of thermodynamic, structural, and electronic properties for bulk and surfaces of ceria (CeO2) necessitates the inclusion of the Hubbard parameter (U) in the density functional theory (DFT) calculations to precisely account for the strongly correlated 4f electrons. Such treatment is a daunting task when attempting to draw a potential energy surface for CeO2-catalyzed reaction. This is due to the inconsistent change in thermo-kinetics parameters of the reaction in reference to the variation in the U values. As an illustrative example, we investigate herein the discrepancy in activation and reaction energies for steps underlying the partial and full hydrogenation of acetylene over the CeO2(111) surface. Overall, we find th

Ensuring safe water for human consumption remains the highest priority, while challenges also persist in meeting the water quality needs for industrial and agricultural uses. Most of the relevant studies lack accuracy in assessing water quality. Therefore, this study aims to forecast the quality of drinking water along the Tigris River in Iraq following a new approach. A developed forecasting model that utilizes the gravitational search algorithm (GSA) was deployed. The heuristic optimization tool was utilized for the prediction of the water quality index (WQI) in the research area. Out of twelve water stations, 575 samples were gather
