A novel method for monitoring of pharmaceutically relevant reactions using PADI-MS has been developed in this study. The visible non-thermal plasma plume from a coaxial helium gas flow non-thermal RF plasma was optimised using a range of samples. PADI-MS was found to be a powerful analytical technique for pharmaceutically relevant solid and liquid samples and can readily be adapted for use in reaction monitoring. This study has determined that PADI-MS is fast, easy to set up and requires little or no sample preparation. PADI-MS has significant advantages over other techniques as it is faster, more sensitive and more convenient and suitable for investigation of complex molecules and mixtures. However, two limitations of PADI-MS are that the plasma can affect the sample surface chemistry upon exposure and quantification is not always trivial.
Background: Painful elbow joint over the lateral epicondyle especially with resisted wrist extension are common signs of lateral epicondyle tendinopathy, also called tennis elbow. Objective: To evaluate the clinical outcome of local platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection in patients with chronic tennis elbow compared with a steroid (Depomedrol 40 mg) injection. Methods: A total of 88 patients with chronic tennis elbow were treated at Al-Kindy Teaching Hospital and private clinics. All patients had chronic pain for about 24 weeks or more and had failed first line treatment. The patients dividing into two groups, Group A injected with PRP (n = 44), and group B injected with depomedrol 40 mg (n = 44). A good clinical result w

Although PHB has properties allowing being very attractive, it is too expensive to compete with conventional and non-biodegradable plastics. Feasibility of this research to evaluate the suitability of using a watermelon-derived media as an alternative substrate for PHB synthesis under stress conditions was examined. Results, include the most nutrients extraction, indicated that the watermelon seeds contain a high content of nutrients makes them a promisi

Methods: The study entailed subjecting water samples from Kelantan, Malaysia, to reproduce the natural circumstances that promote the growth of V. cholerae. Subsequently, the samples were contaminated with the V. cholerae O1 El Tor Inaba strain and treated using VPUSM 8. The study employed a controlled experimental design, wherein the samples were divided into three groups, each experiencing different treatment methods. Quantifying the number of colony-

The research sample was 500 youth in Riyadh that age between 20 to less than 40. The most important results show that young people prefer shoes by 53.2%, that 45.2% of young people prefer acquiring modern designs in fashion accessories, and the research emphasized the importance of studying the impact of rapid economic, social and cultural developments on young people’s attitudes towards fashion and its accessories, directing the attention of Saudi fashion designers towards complements Fashion to offer designs that match their trends
This study intends to look into the activities instructors use in the classroom to teach literature. Three models for teaching literature were added into the study in order to deepen the use of activities in the classroom. They are six activities in the teaching of literature were listed as indicators investigated during the study; language based, paraphrastic, information-based, personal response, moral-philosophical, and stylistic. An emphasizing the teaching of literature, the classroom activities used were mostly concentrated on the technical aspects of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Through observing the classroom, it was revealed that teachers employed more Language-Based activity, Moral-Philosophical activity, and Informa

Biosimilars are non-innovative copy versions of biologic medicines which are proven to be clinically equivalent to, as effective and as safe as their reference biologics. Biosimilars creates opportunities for cost savings for payers, governments, and patients compared with the reference products. Pharmacist plays an essential role in developing biosimilar medicines from manufacturing to post-marketing pharmacovigilance monitoring. The aim of the current study was to explore the level of knowledge, behaviors and practices of a sample of Iraqi pharmacists towards biosimilar medicines. The current study was a cross sectional, carried out during May 2020. A total of 2
