Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a significant global health problem. Populations of different ethnicities show great heterogeneity in HBV genotype frequency distributions. A cross-sectional study was conducted during June–October 2018 to determine frequency of HBV genotypes among chronic HBV patients from Baghdad, Iraq. The method of detection was nested polymerase chain reaction system. The refractive indices, nD densities 𝜌, and viscosities  of binary mixtures of sulfolane + n -butanol + sec- butanol + iso- butanol + tert – butanol + n-propanol and iso- propanol were measured at 298.15K. In this paper, a simple, non-toxic, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly green method was used to synthesize TiO₂ nanoparticles using the extraction of portulacaria afra plant leaves and TiCl₄ as a precursor. The synthesized titanium dioxide nanoparticles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, X-ray diffraction patterns, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis.
