The aim of this paper is to present a semi - analytic technique for solving singular initial value problems of ordinary differential equations with a singularity of different kinds to construct polynomial solution using two point osculatory interpolation. The efficiency and accuracy of suggested method is assessed by comparisons with exact and other approximate solutions for a wide classes of non–homogeneous, non–linear singular initial value problems. A new, efficient estimate of the global error is used for adaptive mesh selection. Also, analyze some of the numerical aspects
... Show MoreIn this paper Hermite interpolation method is used for solving linear and non-linear second order singular multi point boundary value problems with nonlocal condition. The approximate solution is found in the form of a rapidly convergent polynomial. We discuss behavior of the solution in the neighborhood of the singularity point which appears to perform satisfactorily for singular problems. The examples to demonstrate the applicability and efficiency of the method have been given.
The derivation of 5th order diagonal implicit type Runge Kutta methods (DITRKM5) for solving 3rd special order ordinary differential equations (ODEs) is introduced in the present study. The DITRKM5 techniques are the name of the approach. This approach has three equivalent non-zero diagonal elements. To investigate the current study, a variety of tests for five various initial value problems (IVPs) with different step sizes h were implemented. Then, a comparison was made with the methods indicated in the other literature of the implicit RK techniques. The numerical techniques are elucidated as the qualification regarding the efficiency and number of function evaluations compared with another literature of the implic
... Show MoreIn this paper, the homtopy perturbation method (HPM) was applied to obtain the approximate solutions of the fractional order integro-differential equations . The fractional order derivatives and fractional order integral are described in the Caputo and Riemann-Liouville sense respectively. We can easily obtain the solution from convergent the infinite series of HPM . A theorem for convergence and error estimates of the HPM for solving fractional order integro-differential equations was given. Moreover, numerical results show that our theoretical analysis are accurate and the HPM can be considered as a powerful method for solving fractional order integro-diffrential equations.
... Show MoreIn the present article, we implement the new iterative method proposed by Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari (NIM) [V. Daftardar-Gejji, H. Jafari, An iterative method for solving nonlinear functional equations, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 316 (2006) 753-763] to solve two problems; the first one is the problem of spread of a non-fatal disease in a population which is assumed to have constant size over the period of the epidemic, and the other one is the problem of the prey and predator. The results demonstrate that the method has many merits such as being derivative-free, overcome the difficulty arising in calculating Adomian polynomials to handle the nonlinear terms in Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM), does not require to calculate Lagrange multiplier a

This iterative method has cubic convergence. Several numerical examples to illustrate the efficiency of this method by Comparison with other similar methods is given.
In many applications such as production, planning, the decision maker is important in optimizing an objective function that has fuzzy ratio two functions which can be handed using fuzzy fractional programming problem technique. A special class of optimization technique named fuzzy fractional programming problem is considered in this work when the coefficients of objective function are fuzzy. New ranking function is proposed and used to convert the data of the fuzzy fractional programming problem from fuzzy number to crisp number so that the shortcoming when treating the original fuzzy problem can be avoided. Here a novel ranking function approach of ordinary fuzzy numbers is adopted for ranking of triangular fuzzy numbers with simpler an
... Show MoreThe wavelets have many applications in engineering and the sciences, especially mathematics. Recently, in 2021, the wavelet Boubaker (WB) polynomials were used for the first time to study their properties and applications in detail. They were also utilized for solving the Lane-Emden equation. The aim of this paper is to show the truncated Wavelet Boubaker polynomials for solving variation problems. In this research, the direct method using wavelets Boubaker was presented for solving variational problems. The method reduces the problem into a set of linear algebraic equations. The fundamental idea of this method for solving variation problems is to convert the problem of a function into one that involves a finite number of variables. Diff
