The present study aims at investigating classroom verbal and nonverbal communication at the departments of English language . An observation checklist has been constructed , which is distributed into several domains that include a number of items to investigate classroom communication . Face validity and reliability coefficient have been computed. The checklist has been applied on 86 instructors at the Colleges of Education and Arts, Departments of English Language at the Universities of ThiQar, Basrah ,and Maysan . One sample t- test and Two independent sample t-test formulas have been used. Final results reveal that college instructors use verbal communication inside their classrooms and non- verbal communication has not been employed by the instructors ; the instructors at the college of Education use verbal communication more than those who are at the college of Arts, and instructors at the college of Arts use non- verbal communication more than those who are at the college of Education. Finally , suitable conclusions and suggestions have been put forward.

In this work, we aim to fabricate a high-performance CeO2/Si photodetector by growing a CeO2 nanostructure film on a silicon substrate using the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique at different laser energy densities. The impact of laser energy density and the number of pulses on the morphological, optical, and electrical properties was studied. Field Effect Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) and Fourier Transformer Infrared (FTIR) were used to characterize the surface morphology and optical properties of samples. FESEM images revealed a uniform distribution of graphene within the PVP-MWCNT nanocomposite. In this study biosorption of lead and chromium ions from solution was studied using Citrobacter freundii and Citrobacter kosari isolated from industrial wastewater. The experimental results showed that optimum grwoth temperature for both bacteria is 30oC and the optimum pH is 7 &6 for C. freundii and C. kosari respectively. While the optimum incubation period to remove Pb and Cr for C. freundii and C. kosari is 4 days and 3days respectively. Also the biosorption of Pb and Cr in mixed culture of bacteria and mixed culture of Pb and Cr was investigated.
