The present study aims at investigating classroom verbal and nonverbal communication at the departments of English language . An observation checklist has been constructed , which is distributed into several domains that include a number of items to investigate classroom communication . Face validity and reliability coefficient have been computed. The checklist has been applied on 86 instructors at the Colleges of Education and Arts, Departments of English Language at the Universities of ThiQar, Basrah ,and Maysan . One sample t- test and Two independent sample t-test formulas have been used. Final results reveal that college instructors use verbal communication inside their classrooms and non- verbal communication has not been employed by the instructors ; the instructors at the college of Education use verbal communication more than those who are at the college of Arts, and instructors at the college of Arts use non- verbal communication more than those who are at the college of Education. Finally , suitable conclusions and suggestions have been put forward.

The compound [L] was produced in the current study through the reaction of 4-aminoacetophenon with 4-methoxyaniline in the cold, concentrated HCl with 10% NaNO2. Curcumin, several transition metal complexes (Ni (II), La (III), and Hg (II)), and compound [L] were combined in EtOH to create new complexes. This study was designed to investigate the effect of different cadmium concentrations on albino mice males' oxidative balance through lipid profile, malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration and catalase (CAT) activity estimation in liver and kidney. Parsley Petroselinum crispum was chosen to detect its effect as a natural antioxidant.
Five groups of albino mice males (10 mice each) were treated with (0.0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 7.5) mg Cd/kg b.w. orally by using gavages needle for 60 days according to 5 days/week protocol, another five mice groups were treated with the same cadmium concentrations mentioned above and 0.1 ml of parsley Petroselinum crispum juice.

In this paper, a relationship between the liquid limit and the coefficient of consolidation of Iraqi soils are studied. The samples of soil used in study are undisturbed silty clay. These samples are taken from different locations and depths of Middle and South of Iraq by cooperation with Consulting Engineering Bureau- University of Baghdad- College of Engineering.
