Objectives: The study objectives are to determine the impact of education program upon the academic nurses'
practice concerning documentation of nursing sheets, and to find out the relationship between nurses knowledge
and their demographic characteristics, which include age, sex, and years of experience in medical and surgical
wards.
Methodology: A quasi- experimental study was carried out at the medical and surgical wards in teaching
hospitals in Sulaimani governorate from the beginning of March up to June 2007٠

A field experiment was conducted at the experimental field of botanical garden, faculty of science, university of Baghdad, in order to study the effect of plant density on growth and yield of two local cultivars of sunflower (Sin Althieb and Shumose). The densities used were 4.4 and 8.8 plant/m². The results showed difference between cultivars in their agronomic traits and their yields. There was a significant increase in plant height and leaf area index by increasing the plant density, while head diameter, number of seeds and leaf area decreased.        The present study was performed to spotlight the potential role of soil bacteria in the Al-Rumaila oil field as a bioindicator of heavy metals pollution. For this purpose, nine soil samples were collected from different sites, with 20cm depth, to assess the pollution status depending on the total and available concentrations of heavy metals.  The result indicates pollution of the studied soils with the following metals: Cd, Cu, Fe, Zn, and Pb.
