Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) currently seems
inevitable and unavoidable for a large swath of the
population .its etiology relates to a strong ,but
complex ,non mendelian genetic basis ,combined
with mechanical and metabolic factors that cause
molecular alterations the end results of which
affect the whole joint .Glucosamine and
chondrotin sulfate alone or in combination may be
of benefit to a subgroup of individuals who have
knee pain due to OA.
Glucosamine has been shown to alter cartiage turn
over in patients with OA undergoing physical
training
Aim of the study: To find the validity of
glucosamine chondrotin sulfate in treatment of
grade 1 and 2 OA.
Methods: the sample of 280 patients

Klebsiella pneumoniae have an ability to form biofilm as one of strategies to persist and overcome host defenses. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of rosemary essential oil alone and in combination with some antibiotics against biofilm of K. pneumoniae isolated from urine. The antibiotics resistance pattern by disc diffusion method and minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of gentamicin, ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin, trimethoprim/ sulfame- thoxazole, cefotoxime and rosemary essential oil were determined. The ability to form biofilm as well as inhibition of biofilm formation of K. pneumoniae was performed. MICs 128, 0.25, 768, 64, 384 and 10 µg/ml were used. The aim of this research was to evaluate the level of ball control in basketball. There was a great weakness in ball control that affected the mastery of many skills that affect the success of the team. The researcher also found a lack in training programs concerning ball control. The researchers used (9) special tests for ball control out of (41) test applied on young basketball players were (86). The researchers concluded that: 1. Criteria were set for test results of ball control. 2. A level of criteria was set for test results of ball control.

The present study aims to investigate the long-term histopathological, and physiological effects of different concentrations of a commercially available energy drink (Tiger) on liver and kidney of young mice. Sixteen Balb/c male mice,6 -week old, were divided into 4 groups (n=4). Two groups consumed the energy drink at a concentration of 28µl energy drink/ml water. One group were killed after 10 days (T1), another group were killed after 20 days (T2). Other group of mice consumed the energy drink at a final concentration of 14µl/ml for 20 days (T3). In this study nicotine tablets were formulated as modified release tablets targeted to the colon.
