This study analyzes the stylistic features of euphemisms in feminist discourse, based on material from the contemporary Russian press of the period (2015–2025). The central issue lies in how the linguistic devices used to soften the harshness and confrontation in discourse contribute to shaping a distinct feminine communicative style within media discourse, where the context necessitates combining the expression of the author\\'s position with maintaining a harmonious interaction with the wider audience. This study aims to uncover and classify the stylistic mechanisms of euphemism at the lexical-grammatical, syntactic, and pragmatic levels, as well as to determine its role in constructing gendered linguistic behavior. The research findings revealed that women\\'s journalistic discourse is characterized by the prevalence of strategies oriented towards linguistic refinement, empathy, and dialogism. This is evident in the frequent use of input indicators that suggest ambiguity and uncertainty, particles of emotional affinity, euphemisms, interrogative and conditional structures, balanced agreement formulas, and expressions of solidarity and collective identity. These devices not only reduce the potential threat to the recipient\\'s \\"image\\" but also contribute to building a communicative tone based on trust, emotional engagement, and the formation of a positive image of the writer. The study\\'s results indicate the growing socio-organizational function of euphemisms in media discourse as an indicator of women\\'s communicative style, reflecting cultural expectations associated with tact and harmony in interpersonal relationships. The importance of this research lies in providing a comprehensive description of the pragmatic and figurative effects of euphemisms in contemporary women\\'s journalistic discourse in recent years, thus enabling a deeper understanding of the dynamics of gender-related stylistics in modern public communication.
This study addresses the issue of academic writing in English by comparing pragmatic argumentation in the writing of 40 graduate students studying at Iraqi universities (SSIU) with the writing of 40 graduate students studying at American universities (SSAU). In these 80 theses, six selected aspects of academic writing were analyzed: (a) paragraph structure, (b) length and construction of sentences, (c) organization of information in sentences, (d) vocabulary, (e) topic sentences, and (f) discourse markers. This study seeks to go beyond the traditional and often onedimensional analysis of pragmatics of argumentation in English academic writing to distinguish and describe different aspects of academic writing and their results when used by EF

It studies how the reader understands the text and mapping it with his real experiences (Jeffries and McIntyre,2010). The present study is a cognitive stylistic analysis of digital stories. Digital stories are short narratives made by a combination of different sorts of digital media such as pictures, audios and videos. These digital media are employed to tell stories about oneself, famous people, and important events. The analyzed stories are selected from “Daily Yahoo Stories” and are analyzed according to Lakoff (1993) approach, The analysis investig

Since the time it emerged, stylistics, as a field of knowledge which combines both linguistics and literature, acquired a special status in the linguistic arena. Its significance in complementing the meaning delivered by linguistic means has been proven and acknowledged through numerous stylistic analytic attempts of different literary works and in different languages. The question put forward in this paper is whether or not the stylistic analysis can work as effectively on translated texts as it does on the original ones without having the results reached by the analysis distorting the meaning of the original text. An attempt to investigate this question is made herein by conducting a lexical stylistic analysi

Text based-image clustering (TBIC) is an insufficient approach for clustering related web images. It is a challenging task to abstract the visual features of images with the support of textual information in a database. In content-based image clustering (CBIC), image data are clustered on the foundation of specific features like texture, colors, boundaries, shapes. In this paper, an effective CBIC) technique is presented, which uses texture and statistical features of the images. The statistical features or moments of colors (mean, skewness, standard deviation, kurtosis, and variance) are extracted from the images. These features are collected in a one dimension array, and then genetic algorithm (GA) is applied for image clustering.
