Effect of Application of BMP2/TGF β1 in Traumatic Pulp of Osteoporotic Rat
...Show More Authors

Introduction: Dental pulp tissue contains many undifferentiated mesenchymal cells, which have the ability to differentiate into different specialized cells. Induced pluripotent stem cells have been developed by various growth factors. The present study was designed to evaluate the effect of application of a combination BMP2/TGF β1 as capped material for traumatic pulp in osteoporotic rat. Materials and Methods: Twelfth female rats (6 normal rat and other 6 osteoporotic rat)., their maxillary anterior teeth subjected to mechanical traumatized pulptomy, the left tooth has speared without treatment, while the right tooth capped with application of 0.5 μl of BMP2 and 0.5μl of TGF β1 .Evaluation of histological changes includes scoring of pulp inflammation and scoring of morphology and thickness of dentin bridge were estimated for all study groups. Results: Histological examination of tooth with pulptomy capped by BMP-2&TGF β1 for both normal and osteoporotic rat showed formation of reparative dentin bridge and minimal inflammatory response with a significant differences value in comparison to control. Conclusion: The study concludes that application of a combination of BMP-2&TGFβ1 enhanced tooth repair in osteoporotic rat.

In May 20th. 1985 two species of aphids were found on the roots of Vicia faba L. in Hammam region 30 Kilometer south of Mosul. Samples of these aphids were sent to the Commonwealth Institute of Entomology, London. ( No. 17002/9804 Asia ) and identified as being Smynthurodes betas westwood and Dysaphis crataegi (Kaltenbach) (APhididae : Homoptera). The first species was dominant. The latter species was also noticed on the roots of the common bishop's weed (Ammi majus L.) and on the wide carrot (Daucus carrota L.) of the family Umbelliferae (Bodenheimer & Swirski, 1957).

Regular sampling for six months from January to July 2012 were taken in small, shallow, perennial, standing ponds near the Greater Zab River, Gwer district, Erbil. A variety of physicochemical parameters were determined. Air and water temperature were falling between 15.2 - 34.7 ? C and 15.5 and 26.5 ?C. The waters are neutral (pH 7.38-8.27), hard, alkaline, salty, high in TDS and EC (892-966?S/cm, and rich in nutrients (NO3: 2.1-4.1mg/l, PO4: 0.33-0.62 mg / l , SO4: 24.7-80.2 mg / l ). The attention fixed on a filamentous blue- green algae Glaucospira Lagerheim, 1982) which is new to Iraqi flora. It is a filament (trichome), solitary, pale or yellowish blue – green, without sheath, Screw like coiled, motile, some of them are activ

Probiotic bacterial supplements play an immunomodulatory role by stimulating IL-22 and IL-37 in breast cancer cell lines.
...Show More Authors

Background: Breast cancer has become one of the most predominant health risks among women and its mass death rate has continued to escalate world over. New data indicate that breast cancer may be modification by lifestyle factors, especially diet. Lactobacillus and Lactococcus type of probiotics have been identified to cure or promote health by regulation of the immune mechanism. Such bacteria are frequently found in healthy breast tissue and they could possibly help prevent breast cancer. Combining with a well established probiotic, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus has proved to have immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects, therefore, it should be a prospective probiotic strain to maintain breast health. This research seeks to try to address one of the important issues in society that prevents the state from achieving its social, economic, political and financial goals, represented by the low tax proceeds, through which it can achieve those goals. What is reflected on the tax proceeds, knowing that the General Tax Authority does not take into account the issue of analyzing the opportunity cost of corporate capital as one of the profit indicators when setting the annual controls, which leads to a decrease in the tax proceeds, and therefore the research objective will be to shed light on the importance of adopting the concept of analysis The opportunity cost by the General Tax Authority to achieve a tax proceeds commensurate with t

Random Number Generation for Quantum Key Distribution Systems Based on Shot-Noise Fluctuations in a P-I-N Photodiode
...Show More Authors

A simple setup of random number generator is proposed. The random number generation is based on the shot-noise fluctuations in a p-i-n photodiode. These fluctuations that are defined as shot noise are based on a stationary random process whose statistical properties reflect Poisson statistics associated with photon streams. It has its origin in the quantum nature of light and it is related to vacuum fluctuations. Two photodiodes were used and their shot noise fluctuations were subtracted. The difference was applied to a comparator to obtain the random sequence.
