(Cu1-x,Agx)2ZnSnSe4 alloys have been fabricated with different Ag content(x=0, 0.1, and 0.2) successfully from their elements. Thin films of these alloys have been deposited on coring glass substrate at room temperature by thermal evaporation technique under vacuum of 10-5Torr with thickness of 800nm and deposition rate of 0.53 nm/sec. Later, films have been annealed in vacuum at (373, and 473)K, for one hour. The crystal structure of fabricated alloys and as deposited thin films had been examined by XRD analysis, which confirms the formation of tetragonal phase in [112] direction, and no secondary phases are founded. The shifting of main polycrystalline peak (112) to lower Bragg’s angle as compared to Cu2ZnSnSe4 angle refers to incorporation of Ag in the lattice. Annealing films adopt the similar structure, but peaks become sharper and more intensity, and crystallizing increase with increasing annealing temperature. AFM images confirms that all thin CAZTSe films are polycrystalline in nature and demonstrated that the size of grains increases with increasing Ag content and annealing temperature. Background: The geriatric patients wearing removable partial dentures are increasing in proportion. At the same time, the root caries prevalence accompanied by gingival recession is increasing. A variety of vehicles can deliver fluoride into the oral cavity, including fluoride mouth-rinse, fluoride dentifrice, topical fluoride, and fluoride-releasing restorative materials, all of which effectively prevent root caries and suppress recurrent caries. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of sodium fluoride addition on some mechanical properties of heat cure acrylic denture base material. Material and method: A total of 90 samples were prepared in this study, then divided into three main groups according to the type of test used (hardness, te

The rst factor was mycorrhizae inoculum at 2 levels: 0 (no addition) and an addition of 25 g plant–1, as the seeds were inoculated upon planting. The second factor was spraying the plant’s shoots with NPK Nano fertilizer at four levels (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5) g l–1. The results showed a signicant eect of the treatment of inocula

Materials and methods: Twenty one specimens were fabricated for every tested property(tensile strength, wear resistance and wettability) that classified into three groups(control, untreated poly propylene fibers reinforced specimens and Oxygen plasma treated group)and for each test sevens amples were used(n=7). Tensile strength was tested using Instron universal testing machine, wear

Physical and Morphological studies were conducted using a scanning electronic microscope SEM test instrument to confirm the grain size and texture. The other properties of samples were examined using an optical microscope, Lee's Disc, Shore D hardness instrument, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). Results showed that the thermal conductivity

The prepared paste possesses electrical characteristics identical to the ohmic connectors as its observable from resistance – temperature variation. Moreover, the I – V characteristics obeys Ohm’s law and this dependency was further confirmed by the nearly constant capacitance measurements with voltage and frequency. A noticeable improvement in electrical conductivity, compared to the pure silver paste sample, was noted for samples prepared by mixing predetermined weight ratios of brass and copper. Furthermore, stability of electrical resistan

This research explores the integration of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) into polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrices to enhance their structural, electrical and thermal properties. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy analysis confirms the formation of a PVA-MWCNT complex. The incorporation of MWCNTs, even at low concentrations, leads to increased electrical conductivity, making the composite material suitable for applications in flexible electronics and sensors. Dielectric studies reveal frequency-dependent electrical behavior, attributed to interfacial polarization, suggesting potential uses in capacitors and energy storage devices. The introduction of MWCNTs into PVA leads to N-type semiconductor behavior, as indicated by the Hall c

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of addition of silanized nano- hydroxyapatite (HA) on some properties of heat cured acrylic denture base material. Materials and methods: HA nano particles were first silanized with ï§MPS (tri methacryloxypropyletrimethoxy silane coupling agent) then ultrasonicated with methylmethacrylate (monomer) to disperse agglomerated nano particles and mixed with polymer. 2% by wt of HA nano particles was selected as the best concentration that add
