THE EFFECT OF Ag CONTENT AND HEAT TREATMENT ON STRUCTURAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF THIN (Cu1-xAgx)2 ZnSnSe4 FILMS
...Show More Authors

(Cu1-x,Agx)2ZnSnSe4 alloys have been fabricated with different Ag content(x=0, 0.1, and 0.2) successfully from their elements. Thin films of these alloys have been deposited on coring glass substrate at room temperature by thermal evaporation technique under vacuum of 10-5Torr with thickness of 800nm and deposition rate of 0.53 nm/sec. Later, films have been annealed in vacuum at (373, and 473)K, for one hour. The crystal structure of fabricated alloys and as deposited thin films had been examined by XRD analysis, which confirms the formation of tetragonal phase in [112] direction, and no secondary phases are founded. The shifting of main polycrystalline peak (112) to lower Bragg’s angle as compared to Cu2ZnSnSe4 angle refers to incorporation of Ag in the lattice. Annealing films adopt the similar structure, but peaks become sharper and more intensity, and crystallizing increase with increasing annealing temperature. AFM images confirms that all thin CAZTSe films are polycrystalline in nature and demonstrated that the size of grains increases with increasing Ag content and annealing temperature. Influence of concentration on the structural, optical and electrical properties of TiO 2 : CuO thin film Fabricate by PLD
...Show More Authors

In this work, Titanium oxide thin films doped with different concentration of CuO (0,5,10, 15,20) %wt were prepared by pulse laser deposition(PLD) technique on glass substrates at room temperature with constant deposition parameter such as : pulse (Nd:YAG), laser with λ=1064 nm, constant energy 800 mJ , repetition rate 6 Hz and No. of pulse (500). The structure , optical and electrical properties were studied . The results of X-ray diffraction( XRD) confirmed that the film grown by this technique have good crystalline tetragonal mixed anatase and rutile phase structure, The preferred orientation was along (110) direction for Rutile phase. The optical properties of the films were studied by UV-VIS spectrum in the range of (360-1100)

The effect of doping ratio of Cu on the structural properties of CdSe Films
...Show More Authors

Films of CdSe have been prepared by evaporation technique with thickness 1µm. Doping with Cu was achieved using annealing under argon atmosphere . The Structure properties of these films are investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis. The effect of Cu doping on the orientation , relative intensity, grain size and the lattice constant has been studied. The pure CdSe films have been found consist of amorphous structure with very small peak at (002) plane. The films were polycrystalline for doped CdSe with (1&2wt%) Cu contents and with lattice constant (a=3.741,c=7.096)A°, and it has better crystallinty as the Cu contents increased to (3&5wt%) Cu. The reflections from [(002), (102). (110), (112), and (201)]planes are more prominen

Effect of sputtering power on optical Properties of RF sputtering deposited Ti6Al4V Thin Films
...Show More Authors

Ti6Al4V thin film was prepared on glass substrate by RF
sputtering method. The effect of RF power on the optical properties
of the thin films has been investigated using UV-visible
Spectrophotometer. It's found that the absorbance and the extinction
coefficient (k) for deposited thin films increase with increasing
applied power, while another parameters such as dielectric constant
and refractive index decrease with increasing RF power.

Structural, Optical, and Morphological Study of the Zinc Oxide Nano-Thin Films with Different Thickness Prepared by Pulsed Laser Deposition Technique
...Show More Authors

The goal of this investigation is to prepare zinc oxide (ZnO) nano-thin films by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique through Q-switching double frequency Nd:YAG laser (532 nm) wavelength, pulse frequency 6 Hz, and 300 mJ energy under vacuum conditions (10-3 torr) at room temperature. (ZnO) nano-thin films were deposited on glass substrates with different thickness of 300, 600 and 900 nm. ZnO films, were then annealed in air at a temperature of 500 °C for one hour. The results were compared with the researchers' previous theoretical study. The XRD analysis of ZnO nano-thin films indicated a hexagonal multi-crystalline wurtzite structure with preferential growth lines (100), (002), (101) for ZnO nano-thin films with different thi

Structural and optical properties of ZnO doped Mg thin films deposited by pulse laser deposition (PLD)
...Show More Authors

This paper reports the effect of Mg doping on structural and optical properties of ZnO prepared by pulse laser deposition (PLD). The films deposited on glass substrate using Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm) as the light source. The structure and optical properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmittance measurements. The films grown have a polycrystalline wurtzite structure and high transmission in the UV-Vis (300-900) nm. The optical energy gap of ZnO:Mg thin films could be controlled between (3.2eV and 3.9eV). The refractive index of ZnO:Mg thin films decreases with Mg doping. The extinction coefficient and the complex dielectric constant were also investigate.

Effect of In2O3 and Eu2O3 Dopants on Morphology and Gas Sensing Properties of CeO2 Thin Films
...Show More Authors

Pulsed-laser deposition (PLD) technique was used to prepare thin films from cerium oxide (CeO2) doped with erbium and indium oxides. In order to characterize the morphology and sensing features, these films were deposited on glass and/or single silicon substrates, respectively, with erbium and indium oxides. The morphological investigation conducted using atomic force microscope has shown an increase in the non-regularity of particle diameter with increasing doping ratios of both oxides. The maximum particle diameter of 61.45nm was obtained for 9% Eu2O3-doped CeO2. The surface roughness value of Eu2O3-doped ceria was higher than those of In2O3-doped ceria. The gas sensing measurements were done at
