حاول الباحث في هذه الدراسة التذكير بشخصيتين نحويتين، كان يشار لهما بالبنان، إلا أنّ غبار الزمن قد غمرتهما، ولا يكاد يعرفان اليوم بين طلاب العلم، وهما ابن معط ، وابن الخباز.
