SYNERGISTIC EFFECTS OF NEEM OIL AND GENTAMICIN ON PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA VIA PHZM GENE DOWNREGULATION: A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW
...Show More Authors

Exploring the antibacterial potential of neem oil (Azadirachta indica) in combination with gentamicin (GEN) against pathogenic molds, especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa, has drawn concern due to the quest for natural treatment options against incurable diseases. Prospective research directions include looking for natural cures for many of the currently incurable diseases available now. microbial identification system, were used to identify the isolates. The research utilized a range of methods, such as the diffusion agar well (AWD) assays, TEM (transmission electron microscopy) analysis, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) assays, and real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) to analyze bacterial expression and the antibacterial action of neem oil (Azadirachta indica) combined with gentamicin (GEN) against the pathogenic bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa between others. The combined effects of neem oil and GEN on P. aeruginosa are extensively investigated in this study, with particular attention paid to the downregulation of the virulent factor gene phzM, inhibition of biofilm formation, morphological changes, and gene expression, in that proportion. Results show that neem oil has strong antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa and S. aureus, preventing the formation of biofilms and causing morphological alterations. In addition, the synergistic effects of neem oil and GEN are demonstrated, together in order with the downregulation of the phzM gene in P. aeruginosa. These results highlight the increased effectiveness of neem oil when combined with GEN and point to the potential of the oil as a stand-alone antibacterial agent. They also highlight the need for more study to overcome antibiotic resistance in harmful bacteria. Overall, our results point to a possibility that neem oil extract, either alone or in combination with GEN, can suppress the development of pathogenic microbes. This synergistic impact is related to the downregulation of a virulence factor gene. To address the drug resistance linked to pathogenic microbes, greater study is required. Novelty of study addresses the important issue of antibiotic resistance by exploring the potential synergistic effects of neem oil and gentamicin on pathogenic bacteria, particularly Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This topic is highly relevant in the context of the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance. fields of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad/Al-Jadriya, in the fall season 2021-2022. With three sowing dates (26 July, 4 August, 12 August), The experiment was implemented according to a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The aim is to detect the expression of the INCW1 gene associated with sucrose-to-glucose analysis, which is critical for many metabolic functions in different sink tissues, and determine the amount of fold gene expression to find out which of the genotypes contain the invertase gene, and which ones have a high level of gene expression based on the fold of gene expression. The results showed significant differences in the invertase enzyme activity for the

Reproductive Dysfunction in Women with PCOS: A Review Article
...Show More Authors

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a significant cause of infertility due to ovulation dysfunction in women of childbearing age. Although the pathogenesis of PCOS is still not clear, many studies have shown that many factors within the ovary promote infection. With this syndrome, the disruption of the natural monthly ovulation process causes an imbalance in the body's hormones, and the high level of insulin in the body and the blood sugar imbalance leads to the occurrence of hyperandrogenism, which is the main factor for the occurrence of pathogens, in addition to genetic factors, if any. This study aims to identify this disease and its most important causes, symptoms, and modern treatments to prevent and get rid of it. Polycystic

Methods for Removing Dyes from Polluted Water; A Review
...Show More Authors

Most of the water pollutants with dyes are leftovers from industries, including textiles, wool and others. There are many ways to remove dyes such as sorption, oxidation, coagulation, filtration, and biodegradation, Chlorination, ozonation, chemical precipitation, adsorption, electrochemical processes, membrane approaches, and biological treatment are among the most widely used technologies for removing colors from wastewater. Dyes are divided into two types: natural dyes and synthetic dyes.

Cavitation microbubbles in the medical ultrasound imaging: A Review
...Show More Authors

Ultrasound is a mechanical energy which can generate altering zones of compression and rarefaction along its path in the tissues. Ultrasound imaging can provide a real time screening for blood and multiple organs to aiding the diagnostic and treatment. However, ultrasound has the potential to deposit energy in the blood and tissues causing bio effects which is depending on ultrasound characteristics that including frequency and the amount of intensity. These bio effects include either a stable cavitation presented non thermal effects or inertial cavitation of harmful effect on the tissues. The non-thermal cavitation can add features in diagnostic imaging and treatment more than the inertial cavitation. Ultrasound Contrast agents are a micro

Fractal Image Compression Using Block Indexing Technique: A Review
...Show More Authors

Fractal image compression depends on representing an image using affine transformations. The main concern for researches in the discipline of fractal image compression (FIC) algorithm is to decrease encoding time needed to compress image data. The basic technique is that each portion of the image is similar to other portions of the same image. In this process, there are many models that were developed. The presence of fractals was initially noticed and handled using Iterated Function System (IFS); that is used for encoding images. In this paper, a review of fractal image compression is discussed with its variants along with other techniques. A summarized review of contributions is achieved to determine the fulfillment of fractal ima
