The research study is important since it establishes predicted rates for various nervous system functional indicators.In terms of performing the skill of Dribbling in basketball for young players in Baghdad Governorate in order to reach scientific results that serve researchers, coaches, and players uniformly. The study's goal is to create predictive equations for specific functional indicators of the nervous system in relation to the Dribbling skill performance of young basketball players in Baghdad Governorate. The researchers used a descriptive approach with a survey method on (8) youth basketball league clubs in Baghdad Governorate for the 2022-2023 sports season, totaling (96) players . Three tests were used to measure the nervous system, and one test was used to measure the basketball dribbling skill . After processing the data statistically, the researchers concluded that there was a contribution rate for the Romberg test (maintaining balance) As an indicator of the nervous system in terms of the performance of the dribble skill in basketball for young players by (3.5%), a prediction equation was developed for it,There is a contribution rate for the Yarotsk test (evaluation of the state of the vestibular system) as an indicator of the nervous system in relation to the performance of the basketball dribbling skill for young players by (5.6%), and a prediction equation was developed for it. The researchers recommended the need to direct coaches and specialists to pay attention to the results of this study in planning future programs to develop the true performance level of young basketball players. It is necessary to circulate the results of this study to sports and youth centers and sports clubs in order to rely on the tests used to judge the suitability of players to practice basketball. It is necessary to conduct similar studies on functional indicators of the nervous system and try to determine the percentage of their contribution in relation to other basketball skills that were not addressed in the current study and to establish predictive coefficients for them. It is necessary to conduct similar studies on functional indicators of the nervous system in relation to the performance of the basketball skill at other levels and for both genders.
This study evaluated the functional response of the larva of the predator Chrysoperla carnea by offering varying densities of cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae (L.) . Results showed conformity with type–II functional response, where the number of prey killed approaches asymptote hyperbolically as prey density increases (declining proportion of prey killed or the inverse density dependent) till it reached the stability stage determined by handling time and predator satiation. A reliability system of the multi-component stress-strength model R(s,k) will be considered in the present paper ,when the stress and strength are independent and non-identically distribution have the Exponentiated Family Distribution(FED) with the unknown shape parameter α and known scale parameter λ equal to two and parameter θ equal to three. Different estimation methods of R(s,k) were introduced corresponding to Maximum likelihood and Shrinkage estimators. Comparisons among the suggested estimators were prepared depending on simulation established on mean squared error (MSE) criteria.

This study was aimed to investigate the effect of essential oil extracted from the yellow peels of Citrus aurantium on the growth of four species of fungi: Penicillium expansum, Penicillium oxalicum, Fusarium oxysporum and Fusarium proliferatum and effect of one fungicide: Aliette (fosetyl-aluminum) against these fungi. The results showed that the essential oil of C. aurantium inhibited the radial growth of P. oxalicum at concentration 4.5% while P. expansum and F. oxysporum at concentrations 5% and F. proliferatum at concentrations 5.5% additionally the one fungicide tested showed inhibitory effect on radial growth of these fungi. So that there is a negative relationship between the increasing of concentration and radial growth of fungi.
The optimum cultural conditions for garamicidin production by local isolate B.brevis were studied.Best result was obtained when the isolate B.brevis was grown on media composed of 1%glucose as carbon source,1% ammonium chloride as a nitrogen source ,0.5% Dipotassium hydrogen orthophosphate as a phosphate source and after 48 hours of incubation at 30C .Garamicidin has been extracted and purified through acid precipition and then extracted by organic solvent (ether& acetone ).Using HPLC the garamicidin antibiotic showed three types A,B and C garamicidin .
This research includes study of the effect of two kinds of Anthocyanin extracted , from extracted orange fruit ( Anthocyanin Evolvulus ,Methiola Violet ) on two types of pathological bacteria E.coli , staphylococcus aureus. The result shows that two kinds of extraction have nearly similar effect , and there is Inhibition zone of no growth between 10-12mm ,and the extraction (1) that has concentration of 10-3 mol./L is more effective..
