The goal of the current research is to identify the twenty-first century skills of middle school students. To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers adopted the descriptive approach in conducting their experiment, and the research population was determined by the middle school students of the Anbar Education Directorate, Fallujah Education Department. The research sample was (300) students from the fifth scientific grade. It was chosen by random stratified method, if the researchers built the twenty-first century skills scale and ensured the validity and stability of the scale, as it was presented to a group of experts and arbitrators and they adopted the following statistical methods Pearson correlation coefficient, discriminatory power, item score method, with the total score of the twenty-first century skills scale, relationship method. The correlation of the item score with the degree of the skill to which it belongs, the internal correlations between the score of each skill with the other skills and with the total score of the scale, the split-half method, Cranach's alpha coefficient. All data were analyzed using statistical methods (SPSS), as the researchers concluded that the middle school students have an average level. Twenty-first century skills. And through the results, the researchers presented a number of recommendations and proposals .
The study aimed to identify the perceptions of social studies teachers in the Governorate of Muscat about the importance of employing the skills of the twenty-first century in teaching. The study employed a qualitative approach. The two researchers used an analytical approach based on the Grounded Theory, the data was gathered through semi-structured interviews with (15) male and female teachers. Research targeted availability of moral anxiety among secondary school students. The research sample consisted of 500 students from the (fifth grade secondary school) scientific and literary branches.
The researcher prepared a measure of moral anxiety which is in its final form of (36) items. The researcher analyzed the data statistically, significant results showed that the sample of the research they have a moral anxiety .
From these results the researcher came up with a number of recommendations and proposals.
The current research aims to detect the level of suicidal tendencies among secondary school students in terms of gender and educational stage (intermediate school students and high school students). The researcher adopted Al Hafeez's (2017) scale for suicidal tendencies, it consists of (57) items including six domains, namely: suicidal ideation, social motives for suicide, tendency to self-harm, desire for death, indifference and pessimism about life, willingness to commit suicide.
