Two new organotin(IV) complexes Me2Snesc (C1) and Bu2Snesc (C2) have been synthesised from the reaction of the corresponding organotin(IV) chloride with the Schiff base ligand 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde-4-ethylsemicarbazone (H2esc). The ligand was prepared in two steps. The first step includes the formation of 4-ethylsemicarbazide, which then reacted with 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde to give the title ligand.     This study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of anemia among  students (males and females) of the Technical and Medical Institute/ Al-Mansoor, Baghdad. 135 students aged 20 -22 years were subjected. Twenty-one students were found to be anemic. The prevalence of anemia among students was 15.55%, with no significant difference to sex. Then, the anemic students were treated with tablets of ferrous sulfate twice daily for 60 days. The treatment markedly elevated the hemoglobin concentration of both males and females and decreased the prevalence of anemia from 15.55% to 5.92%. Emulsion Liquid Membrane (ELM) is an emerging technology that removes contaminants from water and industrial wastewater. This study investigated the stability and extraction efficiency of ELM for the removal of Chlorpyrifos Pesticide (CP) from wastewater. The stability was studied in terms of emulsion breakage. The proposed ELM included n-hexane as a diluent, span-80 as a surfactant, and hydrochloric acid (HCl) as a stripping agent. Parameters such as mixing speed, aqueous feed solution pH, internal-to-organic membrane volume ratio, and external-to-emulsion volume ratio were investigated.
