Background: Concha bullosa is an anatomical variation which defined by pneumatizaton of middle turbinate that occurred with an incidence of (5 to 25%) in the normal population. It has the potential to cause crowding and obstruction of the middle meatus and nasal cavity. There are many surgical techniques which utilized for its management. Study goal: Is to compare the formation of adhesion between endoscopic partial lateral middle turbinectomy and middle turbinate trimming in cases of concha bullosa. Patients and methods: A prospectivecomparative clinical trial was performed in the ENT department at Al-Shahid Ghazi AL Hariri Hospital in Medical City over the period from September 2016 to August 2017. Fifty nine (59) patients {24 males & 35 females} complained from long-standing history of unilateral or bilateral nasal obstruction (without signs of allergy, nasal polyps or masses) was included in this study. CT scan of nose and para-nasal sinuses revealed twenty one (21) patients had unilateral concha bullosa while thirty eight (38) of them had bilateral concha bullosa. The patients were divided randomly, into two groups regarding the type of endoscopic surgical management of concha bullosa (partial lateral middle turbinectomy versus trimming of middle turbinate). Patients were followed-up every 2 weeks for three months postoperatively (subjective assessment of the nasal airway patency and endoscopic nasal examination looking for any adhesion to lateral nasal wall). Results: The percentage of adhesion was (23.4%) in partial lateral middle turbinectomy and was (8%) in trimming of middle turbinate while the relief of nasal obstruction was (96.8%) after middle turbinate trimming and was (82.1%) after partial lateral middle turbinectomy. Conclusions: The adhesion was more statistically significant in partial lateral middle turbinectomy than middle turbinate trimming with (P value = 0.036) and the nasal airway patency improvement was more statistically significant after middle turbinate trimming than partiallateral middle turbinectomy with (P value = 0.027).
The information revolution، the new language has become one for all the peoples of the world through handling and exchange and to participate in all key areas (economic، cultural and scientific) and Accounting episode of this revolution has turned most of the traditional systems (manual) in companies to automated systems، this transformation in the regulations summoned from the auditors that develops their traditional examination automated systems so had to provide tools for auditing help auditors to keep abreast of developments and as a result there is no evidence checksum Local Private audited automated systems came search to provide evidence helps auditors for guidance as part of COBIT، which provides audit procedures Detailed inf

The study included patients with PCOS without insulin resistance (n = 48) and with insulin resistance (n = 39). The comparison groups were patients with no history of PCOS: a control group without insulin resistance (n = 46) and a group of patients with insulin resistance (n = 45). The following parameters were determined in patients: FSH, LH, TSH, T3f, T4f, PRL, E2, 17-OHd, Pr, AMH, Test total, Testf, DHEAS, DHEASs, SHBG, ACTH, cortisol, IRI, IGF-1, C-peptide, and glucose level. The Lactobacillus suspensions (L1 and L2) were individually and orally administered to experimental rats at a daily two consecutives of 100 μl (108 CFU/ ml/rat) for up to two weeks. Thereafter, on the 8th day of experiment rats were orally challenged with one dose infection of EHEC (105 CFU/ml/rat). Animals mortality and illness symptoms have been monitored. There was no fatal EHEC infection in rats that had been pre‑colonized with the Lactobacillus strains, while most of EHEC infected rats were died (90%). The

Power System Simulation studied it for Engineers (PSS\E) software version 33.0 to apply the Newton-Raphson (NR) method. All bus voltages were recorded and compared with the Kurdistan region grid index (0.95≤V ≤1.05), simulating the power system and finding the optimal size and suitable location of Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM)for bus voltage improvement at the weakest buses. It shows that Soran and New Koya substations are the best placement for adding STATCOM with the sizes 20 MVAR and 40 MVAR. After adding STATCOM with the sizes [20MVAR and 40MV

Results showed differences in chemical and physical characteristics for each river. Where the annual averages of these characteristics in Rivers Tigris and Diyala respectively for: water temperature (20, 19) Cº, pH (8, 8), Dissolved oxygen DO(8,4 ) mg/l , EC(1152,2979)µc/cm , Turbidity (28,74) NTU, Total Hardness of CaCO3 (485,823)mg/l, and finally NO3 (4,6)mg/l. Objective: We aimed to compare teenagers with their first and third pregnancies and to evaluate the likelihood of neonatal complications. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on female teenagers (aged ≤ 19 yr) with singleton pregnancies. The subjects (n = 298) were screened over 12 months. Ninety-six women were excluded, based on the exclusion criteria. The remaining subjects (n = 202) were divided into two groups: teenagers with first pregnancy (n = 96) and teenagers with third pregnancy (n = 47). The subjects were observed throughout pregnancy and delivery. The final sample size of the first and thi
