The objective of this study is to analyze the difficulties faced by intermediate-level Iraqi students in the use of Spanish unstressed pronouns as a foreign language (ELE). Through a mixed methodology, a descriptive and explanatory analysis was conducted based on written and oral productions of B1-level students at the University of Baghdad.The results show that factors such as interference from the native language (Arabic) and English, as well as grammatical differences between Spanish and Arabic, generate difficulties in the correct use of unstressed pronouns. Spanish language has gone through several stages since its separation from the mother language Latin until its current form. As the medieval Spanish was different of the Spanish that used in the Spanish golden epoch and this Spanish is different of current Spanish. These changes have included syntactical, morphological, phonetically, semantically and orthographical changes.

En las últimas décadas los medios audiovisuales (el cine) se han convertido en una herramienta indispensable en el contexto educativo en general. Su importancia se destaca especialmente por ser una herramienta poderosa para fomentar el aprendizaje de idiomas y promover la comunicación y el entendimiento entre diferentes culturas. Además, ha venido desempeñando un papel relevante en las clases de español en contextos de no inmersión, puesto que, plantea escenarios reales para conocer el contexto de habla de la lengua extranjera. Ante este importante hecho, el presente articulo pretende revisar cuál es el papel de los medios audiovisuales (el cine) en el desarrollo de las destrezas de comprensión y expresión oral en el aula de ELE.

La pronunciación forma la manera principal del estudiante de una lengua extranjera, su medio para ganar la confianza del interlocutor nativo. Por eso es inevitable, para las nuevas ediciones de los libros del español como ELE, seguir y adaptar las nuevas modificaciones aprobadas por la R.A.E. en su última edición de Ortografía. La enseñanza de un idioma presupone el desarrollo sistemático de habilidades intelectuales y prácticas para aquellos que aprenden dicho idioma. Esto justifica la necesidad de utilizar métodos e instrucciones que conlleven a satisfacer las necesidades fundamentales de este estudio.
