The ligand 2-Hydroxy-N-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-acetamide(L) has been prepared from reaction of 2-(aminomethyl)pyridin with chloroacetic acid (1:1).It has been characterized by elemental analysis (C,H,N) ,'H, 13 C-NMR, IR and electronic spectra. The complexes of divalent (Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Cd and Hg) ions and trivalent(Cr) ion have been synthesized and characterized by IR, electronic spectra, molar conductivity, atomic absorption and molar ratio (Ni 2+) complex. The analytical studies for the complexes show; octahedral for (Cr 3+),square planar for (Cu 2+) and (Co,Ni Zn, Cd and Hg) tetrahedral geometries. The study of biological activity of the ligand (L) and its complexes (Co,Ni,Cu,Cd,Hg) in two deferent concentration (1and5) mg/ml showed various activity toward staphylococcus aureus and E.coli .

Seven isolates were identified as Pseduomonas aeruginosa from clinical samples. Antibiotic sensitivity test were done to determine their sensitivity to number of antibiotics, the results illustrated all that isolates were resistant to most used antibiotics. The ability of Pseduomonas isolates to produce haemolysin, protease and pyocyanin were detected in this study, all isolates had the ability to produce pyocyanin pigment, hemolysis and protease. The antimicrobial activity of the ethanolic extracts of Thuja orientalis and green tea against P.aeruginosa were investigated. Direct field-orientation Control (DFOC) of induction motor drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft has the attractions of low cost and high reliability. To replace the sensor, information on the rotor speed and position are extracted from measured stator currents and from voltages at motor terminals. In this paper presents direct field-orientation control (DFOC) with two type of kalman filter (complete order and reduced order extended kalman filter) to estimate flux, speed, torque and position. Simulated results show how good performance for reduced order extended kalman filter over that of complete order extended kalman filter in tracking performance and reduced time of state estimation.
