On instability of zero solution of some types of forth order

The purpose of this paper is to study the instability of the zero solution of some type of nonlinear delay differential equations of fourth order by using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach; we obtain some conditions of instability of solution of such equation.

COMPARISON OF TWO TYPES OF SENSORS AND THEIR EFFECT ON SPRAY QUALITY PEAR TREES

This study was aimed to reduce the amount of the sprayed solution lost during trees spraying.  At the same time, the concentration of the sprayed solution on the target (tree or bush) must be ensured and to find the best combination of treatments. Two factors controls the spraying process: (i) spraying speed (1.2 km/h, 2.4 km/h, 3.6 km/h), and (ii) the type of sensor. The test results showed a significant loss reduction percentage. It reached (6.05%, 5.39% and 2.05%) at the speed (1.2 km/h, 2.4 km/h, 3.6 km/h), respectively. It was noticed that when the speed becomes higher the loss becomes less accordingly. This study is an attempt for understanding the effects of bedding types on the behavior of large diameter GRP flexible sewer pipes using three dimensional finite element approaches. Distinction of Two Zero-Spaced Iron Pipes in GPR Radargram for Engineering Problems

Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) survey was performed to distinguish between two zero-spaced iron pipes in radargram. The field work was carried out by constructing artificial rectangular models with dimensions of length, width, and depth equal to 10.0, 1.0, 0.65 meter respectively that filled with dry clastic mixture deposit, three twin sets of air filled iron pipes of 15.24 cm (6 inch) diameter were buried horizontally and vertically inside the mixture at different distances together. Effect of operation conditions on Catalytic Oxidation of Phenol in Aqueous Solution

This work was conducted to study the oxidation of phenol in aqueous solution using copper based catalyst with zinc as promoter and different carrier, i.e. γ-Alumina and silica. These catalysts were prepared by impregnation method.
The effect of catalyst composition, pH (5.6-9), phenol to catalyst concentration ratio (2-0.5), air feed rate (30-50) ml/s, stirring speed (400-800) rpm, and temperature (80-100) °C were examined in order to find the best conditions for phenol conversion.
The best operating conditions which lead to maximum phenol conversion (73.1%) are : 7.5 pH, 4/6 phenol to catalyst concentration, 40 ml/s air feed rate, 600 rpm stirring speed, and 100 °C reaction temperature. The reaction involved an induction period

Microbial activity of Ellagic acid when mixed with some types of candy toward Streptococcus mutans microorganism was studied. The main purpose of carrying out this study is to produce a new type of candy that contains Ellagic acid in addition to xylitol instead of sucrose to prevent dental caries.
