Source of Information in Regard of Starting Breast_Feeding in Baghdad

This study. was done on three hundred mothers who has a child less than 5 year old in ALNahryn University Teaching Hospital for the period of three months 1-1-2001 to 31-3-2001.
The study showed that 48% were Breast-feeding, 11% Bottlefeeding, & 41% Mixed breast and bottle-feeding. The family plays a major role (97.2%) in deciding the type of feeding
and the doctor role was only 2% in that regard and 21.2% in advice for artificial feeding. The study also showed that there is a decline in breast feeding among -the three generations
studied 100%, 96.4%, 48%; which represent around 52% o decline in breast feeding.

Iris Data Compression Based on Hexa-Data Coding

Iris research is focused on developing techniques for identifying and locating relevant biometric features, accurate segmentation and efficient computation while lending themselves to compression methods. Earthquake Hazard Mitigation for Uncertain Building Systems Based on Adaptive Synergetic Control

This study presents an adaptive control scheme based on synergetic control theory for suppressing the vibration of building structures due to earthquake. The control key for the proposed controller is based on a magneto-rheological (MR) damper, which supports the building. According to Lyapunov-based stability analysis, an adaptive synergetic control (ASC) strategy was established under variation of the stiffness and viscosity coefficients in the vibrated building. Block Method for SolvingState-Space Equations of Linear Continuous-Time Control Systems

This paper presents a newly developed method with new algorithms to find the numerical solution of nth-order state-space equations (SSE) of linear continuous-time control system by using block method. The algorithms have been written in Matlab language. The state-space equation is the modern representation to the analysis of continuous-time system. It was treated numerically to the single-input-single-output (SISO) systems as well as multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems by using fourth-order-six-steps block method. Joint Source-Channel Coding for Wireless Image Transmission based OFDM-IDMA Systems

The source and channel coding for wireless data transmission can reduce
distortion, complexity and delay in multimedia services. In this paper, a joint sourcechannel
coding is proposed for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing -
interleave division multiple access (OFDM-IDMA) systems to transmit the
compressed images over noisy channels. OFDM-IDMA combines advantages of
both OFDM and IDMA, where OFDM removes inter symbol interference (ISI)

Discuss of Error Analysis of Gauss-Jordan Elimination For Linear Algebraic Systems

The paper establishes explicit representations of the errors and residuals of approximate
solutions of triangular linear systems by Jordan elimination and of general linear algebraic
systems by Gauss-Jordan elimination as functions of the data perturbations and the rounding
errors in arithmetic floating-point operations. From these representations strict optimal
componentwise error and residual bounds are derived. Further, stability estimates for the
