Acquisition of metacognition has an effective and important role in educational process, so it can reduce difficulties faced by learners during theirunderstanding of the subjects.

The current search aims to identify First: To measure the level of authoritarian personality among the students of the sample as a whole. Second: Measurement of differences in the level of authoritarian personality among students in the middle school according to the following variables 0.Science (literary, scientific) 8. The current research aims to determine the intellectual security and the psychological resilience of Secondary school students and how these two variables are related to each other. The study also seeks the extent to which psychological resilience contributes to intellectual security

The research sample consisted of (420) students from the Secondary stage in the Directorate of Education of Baghdad / Rusafa III. Two scales were administered to the participants to collect the needed data.  This study tested the impact of region and gender on adolescents 'stress perceptions and coping styles. A total sample of 650 adolescents (5 9.4% female) from 2 countries (Iraq - Algeria). Samples of n = 325 were drawn from each country completed questionnaires on stress and coping behaviors in four domains (school, parents, peer, and future). Results revealed that levels of perceived stressfulness of issues in different domains were universally similar among adolescents from the two countries.
