Tight oil reservoirs have been a concerned of the oil industry due to their substantial influence on oil production. Due to their poor permeability, numerous problems are encountered while producing from tight reservoirs. Petrophysical and geomechanical rock properties are essential for understanding and assessing the fracability of reservoirs, especially tight reservoirs, to enhance permeability. In this study, Saadi B reservoir in Halfaya Iraqi oil field is considered as the main tight reservoir. Petrophysical and geomechanical properties have been estimated using full-set well logs for a vertical well that penetrates Saadi reservoir and validated with support of diagnostic fracture injection test data employing standard equations and correlations. Subsequently, breakdown pressures are computed, and two fracturing models have been developed. The petrophysical analysis infers that the reservoir has poor properties, while the findings of the geomechanical properties indicate that the reservoir is brittle with ductile rock strata. These ductile strata underlay and overlay more brittle formations than the reservoir. The results from diagnostic fracture injection test DFIT are quite consistent with well logs results. The breakdown pressure reflects that this reservoir could easily be fractured by inserting pressure equal to 6250 psi. However, the fracturing model design parameters manipulates the fracture height confinement within Saadi Formation and its propagation to Hartha and/or Tanuma Formations. Therefore, the employment of petrophysical and geomechanical properties of the rocks assists in understanding the fracability of the formation and demonstrating the orientation and the fracture propagation direction.
The research aims to assess the local accounting procedures related in one of developments that have taken place, and largely on the structure of the Iraqi economic activity. But a partnership between the (public and private sector), or one of the types of joint arrangements, and through the use of the analytical method and extrapolate the reality of the accounting treatments in Company research sample. Research found to a number of conclusions that the unified accounting system applied in the economic units that deal with contracting joint arrangements formula suffers from obvious shortcomings, and reflected the common arrangements suffer from obvious shortcomings. and reflected on the quality of financial reporting, and the urgent need

Show MoreThis is a descriptive study that used the survey method, it’s aimed to identify the topics and frameworks of diplomatic and political issues covered by the news of the website of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the content analysis method applied on a sample selected in a systematic random manner for news published in the year 2021. The sample included (191) news equivalent to (20%) of the total study population of (942). The study reached some results, the most important of which were as follows: The political issue, in its general sense, grabbed the most prominent attention among the various issues and events focused on by Iraqi diplomacy: "international cooperation", "bilateral cooperation", and then "regional politic

We used markov chain approach to compute the average and the standard deviation for run length for Cusum and EWMA control charts, when the variable under control follows poisson distribution. Also, we used the Cusum and the EWMA control charts for monitoring a process mean when the observations (products are selected from Al_Mamun Factory ) are identically and independently distributed (iid) from poisson distribution i

The method is based on the reaction of Fe(III) with excess drug ciprofloxacin (CIPRO) in dilute H2SO4, forming a hydrophobic Fe(III)- CIPRO complex which can be extracted into a non-ionic surfactant Triton X-114, and iron ions are determined spectrophotometrically at absorption maximum of 437 nm. Several variables which impact on the extraction and determination of Fe (III) are optimized in order to maximize the extraction efficiency and improve the sensitivity of the method. The interferences study is also considered to check the accuracy of the procedure. The results hav

The study problem is that the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) system is inflexible in terms of marketing procedures and needs innovative, unconventional methods in innovating its products and improving performance. The reputation of the organization. The importance of the study lies in that it is an attempt to raise the interest of SOMO in its approach to the research variables in order to enhance its competitive position in the future and improve the marketing business environment, which contributes to enhancing the reputation of the organization by product innovation. Background: During acrylic resin processing, the mold must be separated from the surface of the gypsum to prevent liquid resin from penetrating into the gypsum, and water from the gypsum seeping into the acrylic resin. For many years, tin foil was the most acceptable separating medium, and because it's difficult to apply, a tin-foil substitute is used. In this study, olive oil is used as an alternative to tin foil separating medium for first time, and evaluating its effect as a separating medium on some mechanical properties such as (indentation hardness and transverse strength) of acrylic resins denture base comparing it with those processed using tin-foil and tin foil substitute such as (cold mold seal) separating medium.
