Aims Nurses are key members of the health care team, providing competent care for individuals, families, and communities in elective or emergent conditions. When nurses are involved in disaster management without proper preparation, their capacity to deliver care may be significantly compromised. However, assessment nurses’ perceptions of disaster preparedness and core competence are limited. The study assessed the nurses’ perception of disaster preparedness and core competence. And the association between sociodemographic characteristics and disaster preparedness and core competence. Instrument & Methods This cross-sectional study was conducted from February 22 to August 15, 2024, in four teaching hospitals (Baghdad Teaching Hospital, Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital, Al-Kindi Teaching Hospital, and Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital) and three general hospitals (Al- Rumaitha Hospital, Alkhudier Hospital, and Al-Warkaa Hospital) in the mid-and south of Iraq. The data was analyzed using SPSS 20 and Microsoft Excel 2010 by an independent two-sample t-test analysis of variance (ANOVA) at p<0.05 significant level. Findings The total NPDCC score according to gender (p=0.044) and years of experience (p=0.021) had significant associations with the core competence perception. Also, the total NPDCC score according to the field of work (p=0.01), the nurses have a role in disasters (p=0.0291), and you have a role in disasters (p=0.0001) had significant associations with the disaster preparedness perception. Conclusion Most nurses have no clear image of their role in disaster preparedness and are incompetent.
The study aimed .to identify on the melody tetrachords In the Iraqi Folklore song as mall as the melody tetracords is the basic in striation song if Iraqi Folklore so the researchers prepared their researchers from four chapters. In the first chapter of the researchers theoretical framework, included the research problem, which is determined by what is the melody tetra chords in the Iraqi Folklore songs. The research time limits were specific by year (2015-2016) then the first chapter ended with the terms mentioned in the title of research. The second chapter of the theoretical framework, included two subjects the first (Iraqi Folklore song) and the second subject included (melody tetra chords) then the third chapter deals with the resea

The aim of the research is to assess the quality of the university accounting education system in Iraq. The researcher relied on the opinions of a sample of academics specialized in this field by preparing a checklist focusing on a set of axes that would affect the quality of accounting education in the Iraqi environment.
The most prominent finding of the research is that the quality of accounting education in Iraqi universities is medium and differs from one university to another in some quality components. In addition, the prescribed curricula and study plans applied in the accounting departments do not live up to the required level, as the largest proportion of those curricula are theoretically d

We aimed to evaluate Iraqi pediatric practice (as an example of resource-limited settings) about the use of Recombinant Activated Factor VII (RFVIIa) in bleeding disorders, with emphasis on its effectiveness and safety, in comparison with adjuvant therapy. Budget restrictions may affect the availability of even lifesaving drugs such as (RFVIIa). Therefore, we tried to investigate the local experience of pediatric bleeding, with the evaluation of the potential ability of adjuvant therapy of blood products and vitamin K to substitute RFVIIa in case of non-availability. During a complete one year‘s period, 35 patients

Selected actual operating data are employed for analysis. The same amount of electrical and thermal product outputs is considered for all systems to facilitate comparisons. The theoretical analysis was done according to 1st and 2nd law of thermodynamic. The results demonstrate that exergy analysis is a useful tool in performance analysis of cogeneration systems and permits meaningful comparisons of different cogeneration systems based on their merits, also the result showed that the back pressure steam-turbine is more efficient than other pro

This impact can be seen through the energy, water and raw materials consumed for the establishment, operation and maintenance of these buildings, as well as the emissions of hazardous gases and generations of solid wastes.
This work was conducted to assess the current maintenance managerial practice for the governmental buildings to stand on the main obstacle and extrapolation of measures by means of interviews with experts to determine the effective factors and closed questionnaire to state the features and the need for new

Thus, practices or interventions that improve patient safety are those that reduce the occurrence of preventable adverse events”. The purpose of this study was to evaluate Iraqi pharmacist perception about the culture of patient safety. As well as estimate whether safety is a principal issue in their pharmaceutical practice this study was carried out on 435 pharmacists who are working in community pharmacies in various Iraqi provinces. A survey was distributed via the internet during the period from May to June 2020. A community pharmacy

The chemical demulsification process of crude oil emulsions is one of the methods used for reducing water content. The demulsifier presence causes the film layer between water droplets and the crude oil emulsion that to become unstable, leading to the accelerated of water coalescence. This research was performed to study the performance of a chemical demulsifier Chimec2439 (commercial) a blend of non-ionic oil-soluble surfactants. The crude oils used in these experiments were Basrah and Kirkuk Iraqi crude oil. These
