Abstract: Stories, which are the result of a short text, adventure or experience description, reflect real or possible events-situations. Ömer Seyfettin, the representative of event storytelling in Turkish literature, is an important writer with his nationalist and patriotic identity. Ömer Seyfettin, who wrote many works in the genre of stories, generally addressed the social, historical and psychological issues of the founding years of the Republic of Turkey in these stories, as well as themes such as national values, human psychology, moral issues and social changes. The aim of this study is to examine the sentence structure in Ömer Seyfettin's stories called Miracle. The limitations of the study are determined as the entire story of Ömer Seyfettin's Miracle. The method in this study is the analysis of sentence structure, which is a grammar method. Many linguists have done studies on the classification and definition of sentence structure until today. Sentence structures, which express a meaningful whole in linguistics, serve to explain the language and the judgment intended to be expressed. Ömer Seyfettin's stories are suitable for sentence structure studies and are important.
Ab – initio restricted Hartree - Fock method within the framework of large unit cell (LUC) formalism is used to investigate the electronic structure of Si and Ge nanocrystals. The surface and core properties are investigated. A large unit cell of 8 atoms is used in the present analysis. Cohesive energy, energy gap, conduction and valence band widths are obtained from the electronic structure calculations. The results are compared with available experimental data and theoretical results of other investigators. The current research aims to construct a scale for the nine types of students’ personality according to Rob Fitzel model. To do this, (162) items were formed that present the nine types of personality with (18) items for each type. To test the validity of the scale, a sample of (584) students of Al-Mustansrya University were chosen. The data of their responses was analyzed by using factor analysis. The findings explored (9) factors as one factor for each type of personality with (12) items for each one. Then, the reliability of the scale was found by using the test-retest method and Alfa Cronbach method.
The electronic structure of zinc blend indium gallium phosphide In0.5Ga0.5P nanocrystals which have dimension (2-2.8 nm) is investigated using the density functional theory coupled with large unit cell (LUC) for the different size core (8 ,16,54,64) atoms respectively. The investigated properties include total energy, energy gap, conduction band, valence band, cohesive energy, ionicity and density of state etc. as a function of core size and lattice constant. This paper presents stochastic analysis using the perturbation method to model the structure of a container to verify the distributions of probability of maximum and minimum axial forces reactions in piles. The proposed simulation of a container port terminal under 11 scenarios of load combinations was presented. The probability distributions for live loads are assigned according to the input parameters of simulation data. Part of the load itself is implicitly combined such as vertical live load which includes the weight of equipment and containers and wind load.
