Classification of grapevine leaves images using VGG-16 and VGG-19 deep learning nets
...Show More Authors

The successful implementation of deep learning nets opens up possibilities for various applications in viticulture, including disease detection, plant health monitoring, and grapevine variety identification. With the progressive advancements in the domain of deep learning, further advancements and refinements in the models and datasets can be expected, potentially leading to even more accurate and efficient classification systems for grapevine leaves and beyond. Overall, this research provides valuable insights into the potential of deep learning for agricultural applications and paves the way for future studies in this domain. This work employs a convolutional neural network (CNN)-based architecture to perform grapevine leaf image classification by adapting VGG-16 net and VGG-19 net models and subsequently identifying the optimal performer between the two nets during the classification process. A publicly available dataset comprising 500 images categorized into 5 distinct classes (100 images per class), was utilized in this work. The obtained empirical outcomes demonstrate a remarkable accuracy rate of 99.6% for the VGG-16 net model, while VGG-19 net achieves a 100% accuracy rate. Based on these findings, it can be inferred that VGG-19 net exhibits superior performance in classifying images of grapevine leaves compared to the VGG-16 net. © (2024), (Universitas Ahmad Dahlan). Advanced Machine Learning Models for Banana Sweetness Classification
...Show More Authors

It takes a lot of time to classify the banana slices by sweetness level using traditional methods. By assessing the quality of fruits more focus is placed on its sweetness as well as the color since they affect the taste. The reason for sorting banana slices by their sweetness is to estimate the ripeness of bananas using the sweetness and color values of the slices. This classifying system assists in establishing the degree of ripeness of bananas needed for processing and consumption. The purpose of this article is to compare the efficiency of the SVM-linear, SVM-polynomial, and LDA classification of the sweetness of banana slices by their LRV level. The result of the experiment showed that the highest accuracy of 96.66% was achieved by the

MCNet: Mask Cell of Multi Class Deep Network for Blood Cells Detection and Classification
...Show More Authors

Physicians are likely to expend significant labor and time while manually calculating blood smears. Automatic computer-based methods for classifying acute lymphoblastic leukemia have trouble correctly lighting stained white blood cell microscopy images and accurately separating cells that touch or overlap. Additionally, incorporating machine learning techniques into medical services is very hard because doctors can deal with rough guesses as long as the results aren't too bad, but they can't use these calculations for actual medical care. Enabling a A deep network having knowledge of the accuracy of its own predictions is a fascinating and crucial issue. Most instances segmentation frameworks weigh the mask quality during the instance

Automated Detection of Dubas Bug Infestation in Palm Trees Using Deep Learning with Residual Neural Networks
...Show More Authors

Automated detection of Dubas palm infestation by image processing techniques has practical significance as it can improve agricultural efficiency, increase crop yield and quality, protect the environment, and provide data-driven insights. It also reduces the human effort required for pest control and enhances sustainability. In this study, we aimed to automate the detection of Dubas bug infestation in palm trees using deep learning with transfer learning residual neural networks. Based on four models: InceptionResNetV2, ResNet18, ResNet50, and ResNet101, the data used in this study were obtained by drone photography, many images were taken, and then the infected area was extracted. Using two types of data, 185 infected images and 185 health

Hybrid Deep Learning Model for Singing Voice Separation
...Show More Authors

Monaural source separation is a challenging issue due to the fact that there is only a single channel available; however, there is an unlimited range of possible solutions. In this paper, a monaural source separation model based hybrid deep learning model, which consists of convolution neural network (CNN), dense neural network (DNN) and recurrent neural network (RNN), will be presented. A trial and error method will be used to optimize the number of layers in the proposed model. Moreover, the effects of the learning rate, optimization algorithms, and the number of epochs on the separation performance will be explored. Our model was evaluated using the MIR-1K dataset for singing voice separation. Moreover, the proposed approach achi
