Resumen The article deals with the analysis of different ways of creating Arabic scientific terminology. Arabic scientific style includes the terminology that represents different scientific areas functioning in all Arabic countries. These ways can be classified as: giving the meaning of terms; construction of new terms according to the rules of word formation; reduction and ellipsis of terms; direct term borrowing, all the above-mentioned being subject to further analysis. This paper aims to add to the growing body of cognitive translation studies that deal with the translation of emotions and the factors of evaluating the translation process-oriented. Cognitive appraisal is one of the tokens that includes three paradigms of assessing the performance of translation, it can be addressed from the perspective of emotions, intuitions, and individual styles of the SL and the method of transfer into TL. The study hypothesized that translators create a similar emotional charge due to their mental capability to build the same emotional effect in the TL audience. It is obvious that there is a difference between the three strategic environments (conflict environment, peace environment, post- peace environment) in terms of inputs and strategies to deal with each one of them. There is an urgent need to understand each pattern separately, analyze its inputs, and identify the factors and variables that affect the continuity of this situation (conflict, peace, post-peace).
