Abstract
Objectives: this study aims to: (1). Assess self-esteem level and academic achievement for students of nursing colleges in southern Iraq. (2). Determine the relationship between levels of self-esteem and academic achievement of the student in the first semester. (3). Identify differences of self-esteem with gender and different age groups.
Methodology: a sample of (426 students) was purposively selected then collected by using a questionnaire which consisted of: I- Sociodemographic characteristics for assessing some important aspects of students, II- Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) III- Iraq Grading Scale for assessing student achievement. The study seeks to explore the mental-math level among intermediate-school students. To this end, the researcher raised a question. What the level of mental math among students in the intermediate stage? Total of (576) male and female students were chosen from different schools at Al-karkh side \ general directorate of Baghdad education. So as to answer research question and hypothesis, a questionnaire of (30) items designed by the authors was administered to the study sample. T-test was used to analyze the collected data at the level of significance (0.05). Expectancy means (15) showed significant difference comparing to the achieved mean (10, 10) on mental-math test. Research targeted availability of moral anxiety among secondary school students. The research sample consisted of 500 students from the (fifth grade secondary school) scientific and literary branches.
The researcher prepared a measure of moral anxiety which is in its final form of (36) items. The researcher analyzed the data statistically, significant results showed that the sample of the research they have a moral anxiety .

The goal of this research is to identify superstition that university students have in Libya and Iraq, with a comparison between the two. Furthermore, this research aims to identify significant differences in superstition among university students according to gender, study grade and study course.
