The Dammam Formation in S and SW of Iraq is an Eocene carbonate succession consisting of limestone and dolostone. Two boreholes are selected in Al-Najaf and Al-Samawa area to investigate the biostratigraphy. The biostratigraphy of Dammam Formation consist of 22 species which belong to 13 genera of fossils foraminifera.
Two biozones were distinguished in Dammam Formation depending on benthonic foraminifera Nummulites. These biozones are; Nummulites gizehensis range zone and Alveolina sp. – Coskinolina sp. assemblage zone. According to thESE biozones the age of Dammam Formation represent Middle Eocene , whereas absent of these biozone represent Early and Late Eocene.

The content of redox sensitive trace element (V, Co, Ni, and Mo) in the bituminous limestone of the Euphrates Formation (E. Miocene) and bituminous gypsum of the Fatha Formation (M. Miocene) in the Hit Abu-Jir village area, Anbar governorate were determined using Inductively-Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS), in order to infer the origin of the hydrocarbon and the depositional conditions of the organic matter. Hydrocarbons species by using FTIR technique was identified as aliphatic, aromatic compound, hydroxyl acids, hydroxyl group, sulfoxide and sulfur. The open budget means everyone in the society can get information about the government budget in order to watch the governmental works. The aim of the research is to study the concepts of open budget, its advantage, limitations, role of supporting the transparency and questioning the administrative and financial corruption.
