Nested design with three replications adopted in the experiment, each of them included in main plot the first factor, which is gas enrichment (O2 and O3), Then levels of second factor were randomly distributed within each replicate, which included spraying with plants extracts which was Moringa leaves extract and Coconut water at two concentrations 2, 4 %and 50, 100 ml. L−1 for each of them symbolized as T1, T2, T3, T4 respectively, As well as control treatment T0. The results showed oxygen enrichment and T2 increase most parameters (N, K%, Dry weight of the plant, ratio of dry weight of roots to shoot, plant yield, the use efficiency of N, P, k and fertilizer productivity), reaching 4.550, 3.142%, 174.79 g. Plant−1, 5.89, 901.50 g. Plant−1, 16.480, 2.348, 9.156 % and 4.285 kg yield. kg fertilizer, respectively, compared to the control treatment O2T0 (3.530, 2.950 %, 108.57g. Plant−1,4.33, 711.66 g. Plant−1 respectively. We concluded that it is possible to culture the broccoli hydroponically and increase its productivity and fertilizer productivity through spraying with the coconut water 100 ml. Importance of New Use of Concrete in Iraq Analysis of Development And Use of Concrete in Architecture
...Show More Authors

Since its invention by the Ancient Romans and later developed during the mid-18th century, the concrete structure and finish, has been considered as the most powerful, practical, economic and constructional material that meets the building’s architectural and aesthetical requirements. By creating unique architectural forms, the pioneer architects used concrete widely to shape up their innovative designs and buildings.

The pre-mixed ultra-high performance concrete which manufactured by Lafarge.

The transparent concrete and cement that allow the light beams to pass through them, introduces remarkable well-lit architectural spaces within the same structural criteria. This product is a recyclable, sustainab

Experiment and Modelling Characterisation of Clay Effect on Soil Water Retention Capacity
...Show More Authors

This paper reports a research work on assessing clay content effect on the water retention capacity of clayey sandy soils. At first, experimental tests were conducted to measure the soil water retention curves (SWRCs) of clayey sandy soils. A total of four different soil samples, which have clay content of 0, 15, 30 and 50%, respectively, by total soil sample weight, were measured. Secondly, a revision of a physical–chemical (PC) analytical model previously proposed has been reviewed and adopted to represent the SWRC measurements and compared for its predictive performance against the classic van Genuchten model and the original PC model. The experimental results demonstrated that clay content has a significant influence on soil w

Experimental Study for Assessment of Cutting Density Effect on Hole Cleaning Efficiency in Inclined and Horizontal Wells
...Show More Authors

The poor hole cleaning efficiency could causes many problems such as high torque, drag, poor hydraulics and pipe stuck. These inherent problems result in an avoidable high operation cost which this study tried to address.  In this study, the effect of cutting density on hole cleaning efficiency in deviated and horizontal wells was investigated. Experiments were conducted using 40 feet (12 m) long of flow loop made from iron and PVC. However, the test section was made from PVC with (5.1m) long and (4” ID) for outer pipe and (2” OD) inner pipe. The cutting transport ratio (CTR) was determined from weight measurements for each test. Cutting Transport Ratio has been investigated for effects of the following parameters; flow rate, cu
